Dr Mahmoud Milly
He has held several prestigious academic positions, serving as a professor in the ENT Department at Damascus University for twenty years (1999–2019). He has also taught at several Syrian universities, including Al-Qalamoun University, the Syrian Private University (SPU), and the Arab International Private University (AIU), where he has been teaching as a professor of Anatomy since 2019. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to training thousands of medical and health sciences students by teaching Anatomy, Physiology, and clinical diseases related to ENT.
He possesses extensive clinical experience as an ENT specialist, having worked at a military hospital for twenty years. He currently manages his private clinic, providing advanced care and diagnosing complex cases using the latest surgical and endoscopic techniques.
Alongside his academic and clinical work, he has been active in professional organizations since the beginning of his career. He has been a member of the Syrian Medical Association since 1975 and a member of the Syrian Society of ENT Specialists since 1979.
He has made significant academic contributions by authoring several university textbooks that serve as essential references for students in medical and fine arts faculties. These include Head and Neck Anatomy, Human Anatomy for Fine Arts Students, and Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases for Medical Students, all co-authored with colleagues from the Anatomy and ENT departments at Damascus University.
