Dr. Serene Dalati

Dr. Serene Dalati is Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of business administration, and director of Equality and Sustainability Center at the Arab International University. Dr. Dalati has obtained a PhD in managerial leadership, organizational culture and job satisfaction in 2008 which was preceded by British Chevening scholarship to study for an MBA at University of Wales, Bangor in 2002. Dr. Dalati teaches with AIU at the faculty of business administration for business, marketing and management   courses since December 2008 up to date. Field of expertise also include Strategic Management, International Management, and Entrepreneurial Small Business. Dr. Dalati has been working on TEMPUS and Erasmus + projects in the scope of Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) since 2014 up to date.

Dr. Dalati has been the cofounder and concept initiator of a CBHE project in the scope of Erasmus + program between 2018 and 2022. The project was in the female empowerment, equality and sustainability in South Mediterranean region.

In 2023 Dr. Dalati was appointed director of Equality and Sustainability Center at AIU introducing a new inventiveness and initiative at institutional and national levels in the field of Higher Education sector in Syria.

With more than 17 years of teaching experience in the scope of behavioral science, strategic and entrepreneurial management at the faculty of business administration at Arab International University, Dr. Dalati expects to develop further academic research and teaching knowledge in the scope of Sustainable and Universal management and leadership in global contexts.
