Prof. Dr. Hanna Jarmoukly

A university professor and researcher specializing in Communication and Electronics Engineering, Error-Correcting Coding, and Signal Processing. He holds a Ph.D. in Error-Correcting Coding from Loughborough University of Technology – United Kingdom, after obtaining a Master's in Digital Communications from the same university and a Bachelor's in Electronic and Communications Engineering from Damascus University. With over four decades of scientific and professional experience in university education, scientific research, and industry, he has worked at Damascus University, the Center for Scientific Studies and Research, the Syrian Company for Communications and Technology, in addition to the Arab International University.

He has held multiple academic and administrative positions, including Research Director, Professor, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, and has participated in patent evaluation and the supervision of scientific conferences. His teaching and research interests include analog and digital communication systems, optical and satellite communications, microprocessors, power electronics, and wireless computing. He has contributed to the design and implementation of engineering systems and industrial applications used in the telecommunications and energy sectors, with scientific participations in numerous local and international conferences and significant publications, in addition to supervising dozens of graduation projects for students at Damascus University and the Arab International University.
