Academic and researcher specialized in Information Technology Engineering and Modern Communication Networks, with advanced research focus on 5G networks, millimeter waves, and Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) systems. She received her PhD in Information Technology Engineering from the University of Tehran – Iran, where her dissertation addressed resource allocation and path selection in IAB-based 5G networks. She also earned a Master's degree in Computer and Network Engineering, focusing her research on handover optimization in LTE-Femtocell networks, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Automation Engineering from the University of Damascus.
She currently holds a full-time faculty position in the Department of Computer and Automation Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering – University of Damascus, in addition to serving as a part-time faculty member at the Faculty of Informatics and Communication Engineering at the Arab International University. She has extensive teaching experience in courses such as Computer Networks, Data Communications, Network Design, Advanced Networks, Network Programming, Network and Systems Security, Computer Organization and Architecture, Microprocessors, and Modern Communications. She also supervises graduation projects and postgraduate students.
She has published scientific papers in prestigious peer-reviewed international journals such as Computer Networks (Elsevier) and IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking. Her research work focuses on decentralized optimization, energy efficiency, and resource allocation in advanced communication networks. She actively participates in conferences and scientific workshops, serves on scientific committees of international conferences, and is a lecturer in specialized workshops on scientific publishing and the evolution of cellular communication systems.
She has received several awards and certificates of scientific distinction from the University of Damascus in recognition of her academic excellence and research output, including the Academic Excellence Award for five consecutive years and the Distinguished Scientific Research Award for 2024.
She has participated in international conferences and workshops and served as a member of the scientific committee of the ICBME 2024 conference. She also possesses advanced skills in scientific research and programming with C++, Java, MATLAB, and mobile network programming, as well as scientific research methodologies.
