Asmaa Nasab

An academic and civil engineer specializing in seismic structural engineering. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Damascus University and pursued postgraduate studies, earning a Master’s degree in Seismic Structural Engineering from the Higher Institute for Seismic Studies and Research at Damascus University.

Since 2021, she has held the position of faculty member at the College of Civil Engineering at the Arab International University, where she teaches advanced courses including Steel and Composite Structures Design, Structural Analysis, Building Construction, Finite Elements, and Graduation Projects, in addition to supervising student projects.

She began her academic career by teaching at the College of Civil Engineering at Damascus University between 2011 and 2013, where she worked in the Water Engineering Department and taught hydraulics courses. Later, she transitioned to the professional sector, working as an office engineer at "Masader Al-Mashrouat" Company for commercial projects and contracting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, she handled planning, monitoring, quantity surveying, and the preparation of technical reports.

In addition to her academic and professional experience, Asmaa possesses advanced technical skills in using engineering design and analysis software such as ETABS, SAP, SAFE, Abaqus, AutoCAD, and Robot Structural Analysis.
