AIU Honors Pioneering Professors of Architecture

In its temporary headquarters in Damascus, Arab International University (AIU) honored two pioneering professors in architecture: Prof. Dr. Mohammed Burhan Tayyara, and the late Dr. Ra'if Muhanna.

Two halls were named after the professors in appreciation and recognition for the efforts they made ​​during their educational and architecture career at the university and for the nation.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Maher Kabbakibi, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Tamer al-Hijjeh, Dean of Architecture College and his deputies, and a number of college professors and students.

AIU is proud to decorate its halls with the names of such pioneers of science and knowledge.
