Dr. Ranim Al-Deki
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics, specializing in Financial and Banking Sciences, from Damascus University, with her degree equivalency certified by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. She also earned a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Sciences from the Department of Banking and Insurance at Damascus University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same department at the same university.
Her research interests include banking stability, the creative economy, investor behavior, financial volatility, and sustainable development. She has numerous publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals such as the South African Journal of Economic and Management Sciences, Finance: Theory and Practice, and the Journal of Enterprise and Development.
She has participated in international academic conferences in Istanbul, Athens, Bali, and Beirut, presenting research papers on the impact of geopolitical crises, herd behavior in financial markets, and the role of sustainable education.
In addition to her academic work, she holds multiple scholarly and advisory roles, including serving as an editorial board member of the Journal of Economic Research & Review and as a reviewer for internationally indexed journals such as PLOS and the Journal of Enterprise and Development. She also has prior professional experience in the Damascus Securities Exchange and the insurance sector.
She holds several advanced certifications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, computer vision, natural language processing, and other areas, reflecting her interest in integrating modern technology with economic and financial sciences.
