Dr. Nusiba Othman

 

Holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University, with a dissertation on the impact of knowledge management on the performance of higher education institutions using the Balanced Scorecard. Also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tishreen University.

Currently serves as a lecturer in the Business Administration Department at Damascus University and is a member of the department council. Additionally, teaches at the Arab International Private University and the Syrian Virtual University.

Possesses extensive academic experience spanning over 15 years, during which she has held various teaching and research positions. She has contributed to the supervision and academic evaluation of numerous Master's theses and has taught diverse courses in management, marketing, quality, and organizational behavior at Damascus University, the Arab International Private University, and the Syrian Virtual University.

Her research interests focus on knowledge management, total quality management, strategic management, organizational behavior, and higher education management. She has several publications in the Damascus University Journal for Economic and Legal Sciences, addressing topics such as knowledge management, the quality of educational services, and the application of the Balanced Scorecard in higher education institutions and Islamic banks.

Holds several professional certifications, is proficient in using SPSS for statistical analysis, and has IELTS and TOEFL certifications in English.
