Dr. Moheeb Salha

Professor of Economics at the College of Business Administration of the Arab International University, an academic researcher with over thirty years of extensive experience in the fields of macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic development, management, and political economy. Throughout his academic and administrative career, he has held several leadership positions, most notably as Dean of the College of Business Administration and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Arab International Private University, in addition to serving as a professor in postgraduate studies at the University of Tripoli in Libya for fifteen years, where he contributed to the graduation of numerous academic and research professionals.

He has taught at Arab and European universities, including the Higher School of Journalism, Communication, and International Relations in Paris, where he taught master’s level courses on press freedom, Arab heritage, and media.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Damascus, a Master’s in Economics, and a postgraduate diploma in Economics from the same university, as well as a Master’s in Economics and Planning from Moscow.

He has published several books and research studies in the fields of economic growth, agricultural development, taxation systems, and reconstruction in Syria, most notably: Factors of Economic Growth in Syria (1950–1990), Accumulation and Agricultural Development in Syria, and Economic Identity and Reconstruction in Syria, along with dozens of intellectual and analytical articles in Arab newspapers and magazines such as Geron, March Press, and Eurabia.

His research interests focus on issues of political economy, planning and sustainable development, Arab economic thought, and economic identity in post-conflict phases. He is also known for his balanced critical and intellectual approach, which combines economic analysis with social and cultural perspectives.
