Circular for students while on vacation from April 5/17-2021

Based on the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to suspend public and private universities from 05/04/2021 until 17/04/2021, the University Council decided the following:
- Work starts on Sunday morning 04/18/2021, unless ministerial instructions are issued to the contrary.
- The midterm exams for the second semester of 20202 are postponed for a period of two weeks, starting on 04/22/2021 and ending on 04/29/2021, according to the timing specified in the previously announced examination programs.
- The aforementioned exams are conducted with the lectures given until the end of the sixth week of the second semester 2020/2 (i.e. until 03/31/2021).
- All faculty members in all colleges will download lectures in the form of recorded video (MP4) as well as practical lectures in courses that do not require laboratory equipment (such as programming, solving mathematics problems, or reinforced concrete problems, some courses of the Business Administration and Law ... etc.). Downloading lectures is to be resumed after going back to normal work at campus.
- Entry instructions will be re-published electronically to the Moodle Learning Portal for new students in the academic year 2020-2021 as a reminder for old students, and it is also on the student page.
- Projects and assignments in the Faculties of Architecture and Arts are received according to instructions and a timetable indicated by each college separately.
We hope that students will invest their vacation time in preparing for the midterm exam, following up on the new lectures uploaded to the Moodle Learning Portal, and adhering to the instructions issued by the Deanship of their Faculties.
