AIU Faculty of Architecture Graduation Projects

In the presence of Prof.Dr. Maher Kabakibi, university president and architect Mr. Mohsen Maksoud, Chairman of the Board and the jury consisting of professors Dr's:  Mamoun Ware'a, Alaa Abdel Rahman,  Burhan Tayyara, Paul Shinyara, Hala Tiffaha, Shaker Tunisy and Samer Adib  .

In addition to Dr. Tamer Alhejjeh, Dean, and Dr. Abeer Arqawi from Damascus University and in the presence of Eng . Ghyath Kotaina, captain of engineers syndicate  and Mr. Engineer Loay Kharita, Deputy Minister of Local Administration, who attended the evaluation of several projects  .

29 Outstanding projects were discussed in an atmosphere full of science and knowledge. Projects varied between service-buildings, hospitals and health products, public sports facilities, educational and residential buildings, and the Academy of Fashion. Reconstruction projects took large part among those projects. Forty students were involved in studying these projects in two consecutive semesters, the first semester focused on the functional program for the project within the course of the thesis and the second semester on the design and study of these projects which have experienced three stages of discussion and analysis to proceed for the final project.
