Miss. Suhair Alattar

Academic and interior designer, serving as a lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts – Department of Interior Architecture at the Arab International University since 2017. She holds a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Damascus and is currently a PhD candidate in the same field, focusing her dissertation on enhancing cultural interaction in the interior spaces of contemporary cultural centers through dynamic design.

She has worked with several prominent engineering firms in Damascus, including the office of Engineer William Al-Qahf, the office of Designer Abdul Razzaq Al-Qaisi, and Group R, in addition to her freelance work in event planning and designing decorations for parties and special occasions. She has also contributed to graphic design for calendars, agendas, and posters and currently works part-time as a graphic designer at Gallery George Kamil.

She is proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Known for her artistic and cultural activities, she has been a member of the Syrian Plastic Artists Union since 2010 and is a watercolor artist who has participated in international exhibitions in Syria and Italy, including the "Urbino in Acquerello" festival, where she coordinated the Syrian group's participation and has been featured in international media and press coverage.

She has several academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, addressing topics such as dynamic design, cultural interaction, and the impact of visual arts on theatrical and opera performances.
