Georgina Mardini

A visual artist and university professor specializing in drawing and painting, with more than ten years of academic and professional experience in visual arts, design, and higher education.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Fine Arts (Drawing and Painting) at Damascus University, after earning a Master of Visual Arts (MVA) from Bengaluru University in India and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Damascus University.

She worked as an instructor at the College of Arts at the Arab International University, delivering theoretical and practical courses in art history, European civilization, freehand drawing, color studies, and design techniques.

She also contributed to developing students’ skills through specialized workshops in drawing and live models, with a focus on anatomical accuracy and visual expression.

Alongside her academic role, she participated in art exhibitions in India and taught drawing and Arabic language to different age groups, reflecting her flexibility and ability to communicate with diverse learner audiences.

She also has prior professional experience at Syriatel Telecommunications, where she held leadership and administrative roles and achieved accomplishments in customer service, occupational health and safety, and quality management.

She is proficient in graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, in addition to advanced computer application skills.

She has also completed several courses in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, strengthening her professional presence and her ability to manage educational and administrative teams.
