Eng. Roula Rizek
Civil Engineer specialized in Structural Engineering, Consultant at the Engineers Syndicate – Rural Damascus Branch. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Damascus University, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same university. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Structural Engineering Department at Damascus University.
She has extensive experience in university teaching at Damascus University and the Arab International University (AIU), where she has taught foundational courses in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Reinforced Concrete, and Structural Analysis. She possesses practical experience in technical studies and consultations and owns a private office for engineering studies and supervision.
She has published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals on the behavior of reinforced concrete and stress-strain modeling. She has participated in local, Arab, and international conferences, including the Sixth Arab Conference on Structural Engineering (1995), the Reconstruction in Syria Conference (2019), and the ICCE Conference (2022).
She is proficient in using advanced engineering software such as ABAQUS, ETABS, and AutoCAD, enhancing her academic and professional expertise in the field of structural engineering.
