Faculty Member at the College of Civil Engineering – Arab International University
A structural civil engineer and university lecturer with extensive academic and professional experience spanning over twenty years in the fields of structural design, project management, and university teaching. He has been a faculty member at the Arab International University since 2009, where he has taught numerous fundamental and advanced courses in structural engineering, including: Building Construction, Structural Analysis, Mechanics of Materials, Reinforced Concrete, and Seismic-Resistant Concrete Structure Design, in addition to supervising graduation projects and participating in academic advising and laboratory supervision.
He holds a Bachelor's degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Structural Civil Engineering from Damascus University and has made significant academic contributions through authoring several specialized university textbooks, most notably: Design of Reinforced Concrete According to the Syrian Arab Code, Building Construction, User Guide for the Structural Analysis Software (Builder), and Structural Design of Buildings for Lateral Transitions and Lateral Stability.
With solid practical experience as a consulting engineer and project manager, he currently serves as the Head of the Engineering Department at Al-Sham Bank, where he oversees projects comprehensively from conception to final delivery, including tender management, cost control, and execution follow-up. He has also managed his private engineering office since 2005 and has contributed to the design, execution, and auditing of numerous high-profile projects, such as hotels, hospitals, residential towers, mosques, and educational complexes, in addition to seismic evaluation and reinforcement works.
He holds professional memberships both locally and internationally, including registration as a consulting engineer with the Syrian Engineers Syndicate and membership in specialized committees for seismic engineering. He is also a member of the Syrian American Engineers Association.
