Highlights the significant prevalence of insomnia within the Syrian population and underscores the importance of non-pharmacological treatments and social support in managing the disorder. Further research is needed to develop effective interventions and improve awareness and treatment of insomnia.
Food Safety and Ways to Prevent Life-Threatening Pollutants
The fears regarding food safety started long time ago, and till this very moment of ours, the international organizations and INGOs pay lots of hard work to minimize and achieve reduction in the effects and the suffering caused to people around the world by contaminated foods each year. This research talks about the main patterns of food contaminants, and they are chemical, physical, biological, and last but not least the contamination caused by radioactive substances. It is also important to talk about the methods of precaution and protection against the diseases and illnesses produced by contaminated foods, as well about the role of INGOs which are dedicated and specialized in law and regulations enactment for bounding the incidence of food contamination in the world, for raising the public awareness towards food safety, and to keep up with the latest updates of events. This research also contains vast Information about Covid-19 and its spreading process via contaminated food.
Essential oils as antibacterial agents
An alarm increase in the rate of emerging of resistant bacteria have been causing a great public concern worldwide. This problem of increasing resistance has necessitated the search for safe and effective factors that may be used to treat persistent bacterial infections or modify the currently available antibiotics. An experimental approach, using agar diffusion method was used to estimate the antibacterial properties of 5 essential oils (cinnamon, clove, peppermint, rosemary and thyme) each one individually, in pure and commercial form, against 3 of the bacterial strains that cause common skin infections which are gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), obtained from clinical sources. Only two of the commercial oils had an antibacterial effect on both gram negative bacteria (E. coli) and gram positive bacteria (S. aureus) and in lesser extent on gram negative bacteria (P. aeruginosa).synergy.

Effect of antioxidants in plant extracts and free radicals on blood sample
Antioxidants are substances that inhibit and regulate the formation of free radicals, and prevent or slow down the damage to cells caused by free radicals. There is a balance between antioxidants and free radicals throughout the body, and free radicals become dangerous when the balance is disturbed Free radicals play a key role in many physiological decisions in cells. Since free radicals are toxic to cellular components, it is known that they cause DNA damage, contribute to DNA instability and mutation and thus favor carcinogenesis.Low levels of free radicals and steady state levels of antioxidant enzymes are responsible for the fine tuning of redox status inside cells. A change in redox state is a way to modify the physiological status of the cell.Many healthful foods contain antioxidants. If a person consumes some or all of these foods regularly, they may increase their antioxidant levels, potentially helping them prevent the damage that doctors associate with oxidative stress.
Drug delivery via nasal route
Over the past 10 years, the interest in intranasal drug delivery has increased. The objective of this research is to summarize recent developments on intranasal administration for local and systemic delivery, as well as for CNS indications. Nasal delivery offers many advantages over standard systemic delivery systems, nevertheless, there are still formulation limitations and side effects to be optimized. Intranasal drug delivery in the field of drug development is an interesting delivery route for the treatment of neurological disorders. Systemic approaches often fail to efficiently supply the CNS with drugs. This research describes the anatomical, histological and physiological basis and summarizes currently approved drugs for administration via intranasal delivery. Further, the research focuses on advantages and disadvantages of intranasal applied compounds and discusses formulation aspects that need to be considered for drug development.
Developing Organogel of CoEnzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is a small lipophilic molecule composed of a benzoquinone ring and a hydrophobic isoprenoid tail and is present in all cell membranes. It is also an antioxidant. It plays a substantial role in energy production by acting as a mobile electron carrier in the electron transport chain. It has poor intestinal absorption and is prepared in topical forms. Organogel is a non-crystalline, non-glassy thermoreversible (thermoplastic) solid material and viscoelastic system can be regarded as a semi-solid preparation which has an immobilized external apolar phase, it is compatible with high molecular weight ingredients. The objective of present work is to prepare new dosage form with studying of different factors and conditions affecting preparation. Materials and methods: stearic acid and Flaxseed oil organogel was prepared by three methods and confirmed by quality assessment methods including: transparency, structure analysis, inverted tube test, kinetic of organogalation and stability test.
Developing burn ointment using seasam oil, tea tree oil, and,shea butter
The objective of our research project is to develop a burn healing ointment (Meburn) and to compare it with a well-known ointment, MEBO®. The second formula shows very good accelerated stability test results, its histology test was very promising, its ability to accelerate blood vessel formation in heat burns is significant, and, the rats that have been treated with (Meburn and Mebo®) started to get back to their normal weight after 2 weeks in approximate results. Results obtained from our study using rats as an animal model, showed that our proposed ointment (Meburn) has burn healing efficacy similar to Mebo® ointment.
COVID-19 and new aspects of treatment that might lower the risks and mortality rate
Coronaviruses are enveloped non-segmented positive-sense RNA viruses belonging to the family Coronaviridae. The human coronavirus infections are mild; the epidemics of the two βcoronaviruses, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) have caused more than ten thousand cumulative cases in the past two decades. There is a new public health crisis threatening the world with the emergence and spread of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019nCoV). The virus originated in bats and was transmitted to humans through yet unknown intermediary animals in Wuhan, Hubei province in China during the month of December 2019. Chamomile & insulin nasal spray in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease
Chamomile is one of the most widely used herbs in Western countries, in the present study, we assessed the effect of chamomile combined with insulin on the learning and memory impairments (Alzheimer's disease) induced by scopolamine. The cognition-enhancing effect of chamomile & insulin was investigated using the Y-maze test. Drug-induced amnesia was induced by treating animals with scopolamine. Mix solution administration intranasally reversed scopolamine induced cognitive impairments in mice by the Y-maze test. Moreover, results suggest that the combination of both chamomile and insulin may be a useful cognitive impairment treatment, and its beneficial effects are mediated, in part, via inhibitory effects in vivo on the release of several pro-inflammatory mediators and as a co-absorbent.

Biologics are currently one of the most promising avenues for therapeutic interventions in conditions such as metabolic disease, ageing and inflammatory disorders, and for chronic ailments, oral delivery of such medicines has for years been recognised as an important goal. Despite decades of intensive research, oral delivery of biologics is only just starting to prove feasible. There has been much talk about the barriers to uptake of biologics, and indeed, one function of the intestine is to prevent, in one way or another, passage of unwanted materials across the gut, and yet, grams of biological agents both large and small pass across the intestinal cell wall every day. This review first describes the functioning of the gut under normal circumstances, then identifies the principle biological mechanisms, which have been harnessed successfully, to date, to achieve oral uptake, outlining the pros and cons of each approach.

Bigel : An innovative drug delivery system
Bigel is a promising drug delivery system that modifies the pharmacotherapeutic characteristics of knowing active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).It is a mix between hydrogel and organogel (oleogel).
