Theseventeeth- andeighteenth-century section covers figures from Thomas Chippendale to Horace Walpole. Thenineteenth-century section includes William Morris and Candace Wheeler. The earlytwentieth-century section presents modernisms design heroes, including Marcel Breuer, Eileen Gray, and Gilbert Rohde.
