Nuclear fusion research : Understanding plasma-Surface interactions
It became clear in the early days of fusion research that the effects of the containment vessel (erosion of "impurities") degrade the overall fusion plasma performance. Progress in controlled nuclear fusion research over the last decade has led to magnetically confined plasmas that, in turn, are sufficiently powerful to damage the vessel structures over its lifetime. This book reviews current understanding and concepts to deal with this remaining critical design issue for fusion reactors. It reviews both progress and open questions, largely in terms of available and sought-after plasma-surface interaction data and atomic/molecular data related to these "plasma edge" issues.

New Frontiers in Regenerative Medicine
Rapid advances in stem cell biology have raised exciting possibilities of replacing damaged or lost tissues and cells by activation of in vitro-expanded stem cells or their progeny. Colorectal cancer is the third common reason of death in population worldwide therefore we will focus in our study about description of this type of cancer and its symptoms to raise the public awareness to go to the right specialist as soon as the symptoms appear to improve early detection of this disease and the overall survival and we will highlight the best diet and life style to avoid this type of cancer hopefully beside that we will present all the most successful therapies of this disease from different classes of compounds such as chemotherapy or anti angiogenic and Metformin and other bacterial therapy however the major goal of the experimental part of this research is performed to establish a new promising diagnostic tool by Near Infra-red camera after injection of indyocine green to detection the peritoneal metastasis of colorectal in 15 patients since this kind of metastasis

Le più recenti acquisizioni della neuropsicologia cognitiva hanno consentito di focalizzare la natura dei processi linguistici e comunicativi, individuando i correlati fisiologici ed anatomici sottostanti alla produzione (encoding) e alla comprensione (decoding) del linguaggio. La prima parte del volume intende esplorare i paradigmi, i metodi e gli strumenti della neuropsicologia "per" la comunicazione. Nella seconda parte del contributo vengono prese in considerazione le componenti pragmatiche della comunicazione. Recenti modelli si sono occupati in particolare di alcuni fenomeni peculiari dello scambio comunicativo che mettono in rilievo il ruolo prioritario del "voler dire" nella comunicazione ordinaria (ironia, comunicazione idiomatica, metafora e, più in generale, linguaggio iconico o figurato). La terza parte del libro analizza il piano comunicativo non-verbale, con particolare attenzione alla comunicazione delle emozioni. Più specificamente vengono prese in considerazione le componenti mimiche e vocali nell’encoding e nel decoding delle emozioni. Questo volume, rivolto a neuropsicologi, psicologi, logopedisti e medici generici, potrà essere un utile strumento di lavoro anche per gli specializzandi di tali discipline.

Neurobiology of Human Values
Man has been pondering for centuries over the basis of his own ethical and aesthetic values. Until recent times, such issues were primarily fed by the thinking of philosophers, moralists and theologists, or by the findings of historians or sociologists relating to universality or variations in these values within various populations. Science has avoided this field of investigation within the confines of philosophy. Beyond the temptation to stay away from the field of knowledge science may also have felt itself unconcerned by the study of human values for a simple heuristic reason, namely the lack of tools allowing objective study. For the same reason, researchers tended to avoid the study of feelings or consciousness until, over the past two decades, this became a focus of interest for many neuroscientists
