Multilevel analysis is the statistical analysis of hierarchically and non-hierarchically nested data. The simplest example is clustered data, such as a sample of students clustered within schools. Multilevel data are especially prevalent in the social and behavioral sciences and in the bio-medical sciences. The models used for this type of data are linear and nonlinear regression models that account for observed and unobserved heterogeneity at the various levels in the data. ICGT 2006 was the 3rd International Conference on Graph Transformation, following the previous two in Barcelona (2002) and Rome (2004), and a series of six international workshops between 1978 and 1998. The scope of the conference concerned graphical structures of various kinds (like graphs, diagrams and visual sentences) that are useful when describing complex structures and systems in a direct and intuitive way. The GLP regulations have developed from rules on how to exactly document the planning, conduct and reporting of toxicity studies to a quality system for the management of a multitude of study types, from the simple determination of a physical/chemical parameter to the most complex field studies or ecotoxicology studies. At the same time the term “Good Laboratory Practice” has become somewhat of a slogan with the aim to characterise any reliably conducted laboratory work.

Despite the development of cancer treatments and the introduction of new treatments other than traditional treatments, the death rate is still high around the world for each type of cancer. Although conventional treatments are still common, as a first method in treatment, advanced new treatments have opened new horizon and have shown good efficacy in inhibiting cancer, either by treating them alone or in combination with conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. We mention in this research the latest methods of cancer treatment, such as targeted therapies in the treatment of solid cancers and leukemia. and will also mention the annual incidence rates of lines around the world. In cooperation with the head of the hematology division at the Mouwasat Hospital, Dr. Amin Suleiman, we studied cases of CML and MM patients being treated with modern therapies.

At the same time, I was a junior Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble w- ried about a much more mundane problem: how to keep my products on the shelf. Embedding RFID tags in the products, and RFID readers in the shelf, seemed like the perfect – indeed the only – way to do this. But I needed RFID to be cheaper, better, and standardized in an open system. In early 1999, by sheer chance, I met Brock and Sarma. The result was a potent meeting of minds. I was looking to fund research, and Brock, Sarma and Siu were looking for research funding. Working with Alan Haberman of the Uniform Code Council, one of the founding fathers of the UPC bar code, and Allan Boath of the Gillette C- pany, we developed a plan for a new industry funded research consortium at MIT.

The 2nd Workshop on Global Constrained Optimization and Constraint S- isfaction, COCOS 2003, which took place during November 18–21, 2003 in L- sanne, Switzerland, was dedicated to theoretical, algorithmic, and application oriented advances in answering these questions. Here global optimization refers to ?nding the absolutely best feasible point, while constraint satisfaction refers to?ndingallpossiblefeasiblepoints.AsinCOCOS2002,the?rstsuchworkshop (see the proceeedings [1]), the emphasis was on complete solving techniques for problems involving continuous variables that provide all solutions with full rigor, and on applications which, however, were allowed to have relaxed standards of rigor.
