Stress-testing bank during the COVID-19 pandemic : Comparative study in BEMO bank Saudi Fransi in Syria
The study aims to discuss the importance of liquidity and how to manage it for banks and to identify the risks to which the bank's liquidity may be exposed, in addition to conducting one of the tests that can reveal the risks that can be faced. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the study examined the hypotheses through the data of BEMO BANK SAUDI FRANSI, and this test was conducted during the years 2019 and 2020. The stress test was used as one of the effective tests in order to determine whether the bank is able to meet deposit withdrawal obligations during five consecutive days. The test was applied to 2019 and 2020 to compare between them. After applying the stress test on 2019 and 2020, the following conclusion was reached: BEMO BANK SAUDI FRANSI failed during 2019 and 2020 in the stress test because it does not have sufficient liquidity to meet its deposit withdrawal obligations. Although the bank succeeded in testing on the first day of both years, it failed in the rest of the news days in 2019 and 2020

To maximize the probability of survival, cells need to coordinate their intracellular activities in response to changes in the extracellular environment. MAP kinase cascades play an important role in the transduction of signals inside eukaryotic cells. In particular, stress stimuli result in the rapid activation of a highly conserved group of MAP kinases, known as SAPKs (Stress-Activated Protein Kinases). These kinases coordinate the generation of adaptive responses that are essential for cell survival, which include the modulation of several aspects of cell physiology from metabolism to gene expression.
Streptozotocin : Uses, mechanism of action and side effects
treptozotocin (STZ), an antibiotic and anticancer agent, is the most prominent diabetogenic chemical agent in diabetes research due to its cytotoxicity in pancreatic beta-cells. The selective toxicity of STZ due to beta cells occurs because of its preferential accumulation in beta cells through uptake via GLUT2 glucose transporter. Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus can be induced by either single high dose or multiple low- dose STZ injections. At low dose, STZ induces pancreatic beta-cell apoptosis and at high dose it causes necrosis. Though STZ itself can cause carcinogenesis and renal, hepatic and muscle myoblast toxicity, these side effects can be minimized or completely avoided by using lower doses.

The book presents a new approach for the solution of geomechanical problems - it explicitly takes into account deformation and fracture in time, which are neglected in classical methods although these properties create important effects. The method reveals the influence of the form of a structure on its ultimate state. It uses the rheological law which accounts for large strains at a non-linear unsteady creep, an influence of a stress state type, an initial anisotropy and damage. The whole approach takes into account five types of non-linearity (physical as well as geometrical ones) and contains several new ideas. For example, it considers the fracture as a process, the difference between the body and an element of the material which only deforms and fails because it is in the structure, the simplicity of some non-linear computations against the consequent linear ones, the dependence of the maximum strain in dangerous poins of the body only on the material.

Tragedy the world is now experiencing its third major epidemic of coronavirus infections. The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19, has quickly become a threat to the public health and economy worldwide. As of July 2020, more than 15 million people worldwide have been infected with SARS CoV-2, and COVID-19 has led to more than 600 000 deaths. Strategy currently, there is no specific therapeutic drugs targeting the SARS-CoV-2 and no specific therapeutic agents had demonstrated efficacy in treating patients with COVID-19. Until then, “repurposed” drugs that have been approved for other indications are being used to treat COVID-19 patients. Nevertheless, the efficacy of these treatment regimens remains to be verified by appropriately designed clinical trials.

Banking is an important part of any financial system, and it is especially important in the financial systems of the countries of Continental Europe, such as Italy, France, and Germany, which have been bank-based for d- ades and which are, in my view, likely to remain bank-based for the fo- seeable future. There are many reasons, based on empirical and theoretical considerations, to believe that strong banks are not only important for the banking industry itself, but also for the respective national economies.

The search for life outside the Earth has been one of mankind's most challenging quests. We have reached a level of technology that allows for initial steps toward thorough scientific investigation. The aim of this workshop was to take an interdisciplinary look at the signatures that would be indicative of past or present life on another planet and compare them to biosignatures on Earth. The purpose of the workshop was also to discuss state-of-the-art in-situ instruments that are envisioned to search for these signatures in the exploration of the solar system, as well as the discussion of concepts descriptive of the search for habitable planets around other stars.
