Articaine and lidocaine exhibit equivalent efficacy for mandibular infiltration via computerized systems in children aged 4–8 years. While articaine may marginally improve injection comfort, both agents provide reliable anesthesia with minimal complications. Computerized delivery enhances patient experience, supporting its adoption to reduce dental anxiety.This investigation aims to : determine whether articaine's theoretical advantages translate to clinically significant improvements in young children, identify optimal anesthetic protocols for different pediatric age groups, validate the effectiveness of digital delivery systems in pediatric mandibular anesthesia and provide robust data to replace current adult-derived guidelines with pediatric-specific evidence.

Cerebral palsy
Cerebral palsy is a lifelong condition that affects the individual, family, and immediate community. Therefore, the goal of allowing the individual with cerebral palsy to live life with the least impact of the disability requires c- plex attention to the individual and the family. Furthermore, society needs to be sensitive and to accommodate individuals with disabilities by limiting architectural impediments and providing accessible public transportation and communication. The educational system provides the key means for helping the individual prepare to function in society to his or her maximum ability. In many ways, the medical care system probably has the least sign- icant role in preparing the child with cerebral palsy to function optimally in society. However, the medical care system is the place where parents first learn that their child has developmental issues outside the expected norm. It is almost universally the place where parents also expect the child to be made normal in our modern society. In earlier times, the parents would expect healing to possibly come from the doctor, but also they would place hope for healing in religion. As this belief in spiritual or miraculous healing has - creased, a significant font of hope has decreased for parents of young ch- dren with disabilities.
Cells and Robots : Modeling and Control of Large-Size Agent Populations
Cells and Robots is an outcome of the multidisciplinary research extending over Biology, Robotics and Hybrid Systems Theory. It is inspired by modeling reactive behavior of the immune system cell population, where each cell is considered as an independent agent. In our modeling approach, there is no difference if the cells are naturally or artificially created agents, such as robots. This appears even more evident when we introduce a case study concerning a large-size robotic population scenario. Under this scenario, we also formulate the optimal control of maximizing the probability of robotic presence in a given region and discuss the application of the Minimum Principle for partial differential equations to this problem. Simultaneous consideration of cell and robotic populations is of mutual benefit for Biology and Robotics, as well as for the general understanding of multi-agent system dynamics.The text of this monograph is based on the PhD thesis of the first author. The work was a runner-up for the fifth edition of the Georges Giralt Award for the best European PhD thesis in Robotics, annually awarded by the European Robotics Research Network (EURON).
Carpooling optimization
The aim of this project is to collect and use the GPS data from mobile devices to get geolocations and translate this data to paths, starting points and destinations to detect patterns out of each individual trajectories that have stochastic nature on the close sight and find representations of those patterns. The second half of the artificial intelligence algorithms has the task of finding the optimal matching of the patterns that were detected in a computation efficient way that achieve the most efficient way of transportation.

Cancer drug safety and public health policy : A changing landscape
Description and analysis of recent developments and current trends in health policy with regard to cancer drug safety. Opens with an overview of pharmacovigilance for cancer blockbuster drugs, covering both general considerations and efforts to develop a structured framework for the identification and reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs). A number of important examples of serious ADRs to hematology and oncology drugs are then reviewed, with evaluation of the lessons learned and the policy implications of the ensuing legal cases and their settlements. Further, the difficulty of reporting such blockbuster side effects in the medical literature is explored in an empirical study. Branch-and-Bound Applications in Combinatorial Data Analysis
There are a variety of combinatorial optimization problems that are relevant to the examination of statistical data. Combinatorial problems arise in the clustering of a collection of objects, the seriation (sequencing or ordering) of objects, and the selection of variables for subsequent multivariate statistical analysis such as regression. The options for choosing a solution strategy in combinatorial data analysis can be overwhelming. Because some problems are too large or intractable for an optimal solution strategy, many researchers develop an over-reliance on heuristic methods to solve all combinatorial problems. However, with increasingly accessible computer power and ever-improving methodologies, optimal solution strategies have gained popularity for their ability to reduce unnecessary uncertainty. In this monograph, optimality is attained for nontrivially sized problems via the branch-and-bound paradigm.

Assessment of syrian physicians’ knowledge and management of dental trauma – combined survey
Dental trauma (traumatic dental injury, TDI) encompasses injuries to teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues, with significant physical, psychological, and socioeconomic consequences. Despite its high prevalence, particularly among children, many physicians lack adequate training in TDI management. This cross-sectional survey assessed Syrian physicians’ knowledge, practices, and confidence in managing dental trauma, identifying gaps and barriers to optimal care.
