New trends in computational vision and bio-inspired computing : Selected works presented at the ICCVBIC 2018, Coimbatore, India
Gathers selected, peer-reviewed original contributions presented at the International Conference on Computational Vision and Bio-inspired Computing (ICCVBIC) conference which was held in Coimbatore, India, on November 29-30, 2018. The works included here offer a rich and diverse sampling of recent developments in the fields of Computational Vision, Fuzzy, Image Processing and Bio-inspired Computing. The topics covered include computer vision; cryptography and digital privacy; machine learning and artificial neural networks; genetic algorithms and computational intelligence; the Internet of Things; and biometric systems, to name but a few. The applications discussed range from security, healthcare and epidemic control to urban computing, agriculture and robotics.
New Techniques in Solid-State NMR
After the discovery of nuclear magnetic resonance, [1, 2] the new spectroscopy was used for the study of 1 H nuclei in liquids, but then the signal from copper in the receiver coil itself, the first observation of NMR in the solid state, was found.“Wide-line NMR”, named thus because of the line-broadening effects of dipolar interaction and chemical shift anisotropy, was not far behind, and soon led to significant advances through the analysis of spectral lineshapes. Inthis way Richards and Smith [3] demonstrated the presence of H3O+ cations in solid hydrates of strong acids, while Andrew and Eades [4] investigated the details of molecular motion in three solid benzenes. Even now, 50 years later, it is difficult to think of a technique which would provide a more convincing demonstration of the reality of these effects.
New strategies in treating and diagnosing of Myeloid Leukemia
Leukemia is a cancer of white blood cells. It is characterized by an abnormal accumulation of WBC in the bone marrow which leads to bone marrow failure. in this project, we will observe myeloid leukemias (acute & chronic), Clinical Practice Guidelines for leukemia provide recommendations on the diagnostic evaluation, and applied treatment in Syria and Germany for induction and consolidation for patients and we're going to devote a special paragraph on therapy with monoclonal antibodies. Gilteritinib are new therapies for acute myeloid leukemia and we're going to suggest them in detail.

New Light on Dark Stars : Red Dwarfs, Low-Mass Stars, Brown Stars
There has been very considerable progress in research into low-mass stars, brown dwarfs and extrasolar planets during the past few years, particularly since the fist edtion of this book was published in 2000. In this new edtion the authors present a comprehensive review of both the astrophysical nature of individual red dwarf and brown dwarf stars and their collective statistical properties as an important Galactic stellar population. Chapters dealing with the observational properies of low-mass dwarfs, the stellar mass function and extrasolar planets have been completely revised. Other chapters have been significantly revised and updated as appropriate, including important new material on observational techniques, stellar acivity, the Galactic halo and field star surveys. The authors detail the many discoveries of new brown dwarfs and extrasolar planets made since publication of the first edition of the book and provide a state-of-the-art review of our current knowledge of very low-mass stars, brown dwarfs and extrasolar planets, including both the latest observational results and theoretical work.

Among them, acute myocardial infarction is the most common type of fatal disease, caused by the progression of atherosclerosis characterized by accumulation of choles terol in vascular walls. Development of atherosclerosis is greatly enhanced by major risk factors for cardiovascular diseases such as obesity, hyperlip idemia, diabetes (hyperglycemia), and hypertension. Among those, obesity frequently initiates a metabolic change that subsequently induces hyperlip idemia, diabetes, hypertension, and eventually atherosclerotic cardiovascu lar diseases. Because obesity and its related disorders largely depend on lifestyle factors such as high calorie intake and low physical activity, a series of disorders are termed lifestyle-related diseases.

Colorectal cancer is the third common reason of death in population worldwide therefore we will focus in our study about description of this type of cancer and its symptoms to raise the public awareness to go to the right specialist as soon as the symptoms appear to improve early detection of this disease and the overall survival and we will highlight the best diet and life style to avoid this type of cancer hopefully beside that we will present all the most successful therapies of this disease from different classes of compounds such as chemotherapy or anti angiogenic and Metformin and other bacterial therapy however the major goal of the experimental part of this research is performed to establish a new promising diagnostic tool by Near Infra-red camera after injection of indyocine green to detection the peritoneal metastasis of colorectal in 15 patients since this kind of metastasis

Neutrinos and Explosive Events in the Universe
“Neutrinos and Explosive Events in the Universe” brought together experts from diverse disciplines to offer a detailed view of the exciting new work in this part of High Energy Astrophysics. Sponsored by NATO as an Advanced Study Institute, and coordinated under the auspices of the International School of Cosmic Ray Astrophysics (14th biennial course), the ASI featured a full program of lectures and discussion in the ambiance of the Ettore Majorana Centre in Erice, Italy, including visits to the local Dirac and Chalonge museum collections as well as a view of the cultural heritage of southern Sicily. Enri- ment presentations on results from the Spitzer Infrared Space Telescope and the Origin of Complexity complemented the program. This course was the best attended in the almost 30 year history of the School with 121 participants from 22 countries. The program provided a rich ex- rience, both introductory and advanced, to fascinating areas of observational Astrophysics Neutrino Astronomy, High Energy Gamma Ray Astronomy, P- ticle Astrophysics and the objects most likely responsible for the signals - plosions and related phenomena, ranging from Supernovae to Black Holes to the Big Bang. Contained in this NATO Science Series volume is a summative formulation of the physics and astrophysics of this newly emerging research area that already has been, and will continue to be, an important contributor to understanding our high energy universe.

Le più recenti acquisizioni della neuropsicologia cognitiva hanno consentito di focalizzare la natura dei processi linguistici e comunicativi, individuando i correlati fisiologici ed anatomici sottostanti alla produzione (encoding) e alla comprensione (decoding) del linguaggio. La prima parte del volume intende esplorare i paradigmi, i metodi e gli strumenti della neuropsicologia "per" la comunicazione. Nella seconda parte del contributo vengono prese in considerazione le componenti pragmatiche della comunicazione. Recenti modelli si sono occupati in particolare di alcuni fenomeni peculiari dello scambio comunicativo che mettono in rilievo il ruolo prioritario del "voler dire" nella comunicazione ordinaria (ironia, comunicazione idiomatica, metafora e, più in generale, linguaggio iconico o figurato).
