Diophantine Approximation : Festschrift for Wolfgang Schmidt
This volume contains 22 research and survey papers on recent developments in the field of diophantine approximation. The first article by Hans Peter Schlickewei is devoted to the scientific work of Wolfgang Schmidt. Further contributions deal with the subspace theorem and its applications to diophantine equations and to the study of linear recurring sequences. The articles are either in the spirit of more classical diophantine analysis or of geometric or combinatorial flavor. In particular, estimates for the number of solutions of diophantine equations as well as results concerning congruences and polynomials are established. Furthermore, the volume contains transcendence results for special functions and contributions to metric diophantine approximation and to discrepancy theory.

Developing bus management system for AIU
To solve the problem of congestion in bus stops for students, members of the administrative and educational people at the Arab International University, an application was designed that allows the user to reserve a seat on the bus. The application provides prior reservation and enters the study time for the user, the application reminds him for the time of his going to the university. The basic functions of the application are designed according to the general analysis, The development of the application used Laravel, flutter frameworks, AI and MySQL database processing technology. The application has accomplished such functions as notification for location. The test of the application is running in good conditions. The use of the application will solve the problem of bus crowding. The efficiency of the platform makes it a very good candidate to be implemented for any person in Arab International University.

Darboux Transformations in Integrable Systems : Theory and their Applications to Geometry
This book presents the Darboux transformations in matrix form and provides purely algebraic algorithms for constructing the explicit solutions. A basis for using symbolic computations to obtain the explicit exact solutions for many integrable systems is established. Moreover, the behavior of simple and multi-solutions, even in multi-dimensional cases, can be elucidated clearly. The method covers a series of important equations such as various kinds of AKNS systems in R1+n, harmonic maps from 2-dimensional manifolds, self-dual Yang-Mills fields and the generalizations to higher dimensional case, theory of line congruences in three dimensions or higher dimensional space etc. All these cases are explained in detail.
Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever : A Global Perspective

Constructal Theory of Social Dynamics
Constructal Theory of Social Dynamics brings together for the first time social scientists and engineers to develop a predictive theory of social organization, as a conglomerate of mating flows that morph in time to flow more easily (people, goods, money, energy, information). These flows have objectives (e.g., minimization of effort, travel time, cost), and the objectives clash with global constraints (space, time, resources). The result is organization (flow architecture) derived from one principle of configuration evolution in time (the constructal law): "for a flow system to persist in time, its configuration must morph such that it provides easier access to its streams."

Congenital torch infections : torch panel
TORCH is a group of infections that can be passed from the pregnant mother to her fetus through the placenta. TORCH, includes Toxoplasmosis, Other (syphilis, varicella-zoster, parvovirus B19, Hepatitis B), Rubella, Cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Herpes infections are some of the most common infections associated with congenital anomalies. Most of the TORCH infections have serious fetal consequences and there has no impact on fetal outcome. Congenital infections : Toxoplasmosis and rubella
Torch syndrome is caused by a uterine infection with one of the factors that cause Torch syndrome, which disrupts the development of the fetus. Torch syndrome can be prevented by treating the infected pregnant woman, and thus preventing transmission of the infection to the fetus. And some of the factors that cause Torch Syndrome can give the mother permanent immunity, preventing the arrival of the disease and thus fetal malformations. They include a group of symptoms caused by a congenital infection such as toxoplasmosis, rubella, CMV and herpes, or due to other organisms such as syphilis, small viruses, and varicella zoster virus. The Toxoplasma parasite and the rubella virus can provide lasting immunity if the mother was infected before pregnancy in both or if she was vaccinated before pregnancy in Rubella.
Congenital Diseases and the Environment
"In recent years, increasing attention and resources have been brought to bear on the relationship between the environment and congenital diseases. These diseases were previously thought to be mostly due to genetic causes. Even though the importance of genes as factors in causation is accepted, environmental factors seem to be implicated just as strongly. This book explores some further concepts that have arisen from more recent perceptions of environmental effects and their possible interactions with living systems. Discussion and presentation of old and novel ideas is targeted at developing a more holistic and united perception of the interaction between congenital diseases and the environment. Amongst the topics discussed are: -effects of prenatal exposure to toxic chemicals -intra-uterine exposure to drugs -effects of endocrine disrupters -environmental risk and sex ratio in newborns -surveillance of environmental impact-research and policy."
