Field Models in Electricity and Magnetism
Covering the development of field computation in the past forty years, Field Models in Electricity and Magnetism intends to be a concise, comprehensive and up-to-date introduction to field models in electricity and magnetism, ranging from basic theory to numerical applications. The approach assumed throughout the whole book is to solve field problems directly from partial differential equations in terms of vector quantities. Theoretical issues are illustrated by practical examples. In particular, a single example is solved by different methods so that, by comparison of results, limitations and advantages of the various methods are made clear.
Fetus abnormalities relating drug
Drugs use in pregnancy remains a major public health problem. Fetal teratogenicity results from the effect of these substances during fetal development, particularly when used in combination. Approximately 3-5% of live births are complicated by a birth defect each year totaling around 120,000 babies. Additionally, more women taking any kind of medication has more than doubled in the last 30 years. Current evidence suggests that between 65%-94 % of women take at least one prescription drug during pregnancy. Nearly 70% of women are taking a medication in the first trimester during organogenesis. On average, women are taking 3 medications in pregnancy with over 50% of women using four or more. This includes over the counter medications and herbal supplements. During pregnancy, drugs are often required to treat certain disorders.
Facial wirkles and treating strategies
Skin is a complex organ covering the entire surface of the body. Skin aging is characterized by features such as wrinkling, loss of elasticity, laxity, and rough- textured appearance. This aging process is accompanied with phenotypic changes in cutaneous cells as well as structural and functional changes in extracellular matrix components such as collagens and elastin. These changes occur under the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors, Skin changes associated with aging are the focus of many surgical and nonsurgical procedures aimed to improve the appearance of skin...
Explorations of the Life-World : Continuing Dialogues with Alfred Schutz
This anthology originated from three conferences, which were held at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, on March 26-28, 1999, at the Univ- sity of Konstanz, Germany, on May 26-29, 1999 and a session at the SPHS annual meeting at the University of Oregon, USA, on October 5-7, 1999. With one exception the contributions to this volume are revised versions of papers read at these meetings. Each of these conferences took place in order to celebrate the centennial of the birthday of Alfred Schutz, who was born April 13, 1899, and died May 20, 1959. First of all we would like to thank Evelyn Schutz-Lang, the daughter of Alfred and Ilse Schutz, for her continuing support and encouragement.
Exercise-induced acute renal failure : Acute renal failure with severe loin pain and Patchy renal Ischemia after anaerobic exercise
Acute renal failure induced by rhabdomyolysis after strenuous, prolonged exercise such as marathon running or mountain climbing is a well-known medical phenomenon, but exercise-induced acute renal failure after short-term anaerobic exercise - for instance, short-distance track races - has been recognized only recently. This monograph provides in-depth information on exercise-induced acute renal failure after short-term anaerobic exercise, which causes severe pain in the loin and patchy renal ischemia with no sign of rhabdomyolysis. Half of the patients suffering from this condition experience renal hypouricemia, for which approximately 20% are treated with dialysis. This book includes characteristics of the disease, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis, and corresponding preventive measures. Important information on gene analysis and etiology is also included, creating a valuable resource for nephrologists as well as for emergency physicians and those in the field of sports medicine.

Emissions Trading and Business
Emissions trading challenges the management of companies in an entirely new manner. It does not only allow for a bigger flexibility in management decisions concerning emission issues like other marked based environmental policy instruments. Furthermore it changes the code by which environmental policy steers management decisions from hierarchical to monetary information.
Emissions Trading : Institutional Design, Decision Making and Corporate Strategies
Emissions trading challenges the management of companies in an entirely new manner: Not only does it, like other market-based environmental policy instruments, allow for a bigger flexibility in management decisions concerning emission issues. More importantly, it shifts the mode of governance of environmental policy from hierarchy to market. But how is this change reflected in management processes, decisions and organizational structures? The contributions in this book discuss the theoretical implications of different institutional designs of emissions trading schemes, review schemes that have been implemented in the US and Europe, and evaluate the range of investment decisions and corporate strategies which have resulted from the new policy framework.

Elevating video content creation with ai assistance = ارتقاء إنشاء محتوى الفيديو بمساعدة الذكاء الاصطناعي
We developed an AI Assistant equipped with features such as description crafting, title generation, keyword extraction, image captioning, clickbait detection, and sentiment analysis. To achieve these functionalities, we proposed a model for generating video descriptions using ResNet50 as a feature extractor and a LSTM network with an attention mechanism as a sequence generator, achieving a BLEU-1 score of 0.907 and a ROUGE-L score of 0.645. For keyword extraction, we utilized Sentence Transformer to identify strategically relevant keywords from the generated descriptions. For title generation, we fine-tuned the BART model, achieving a ROUGE-L score of 0.45. For clickbait detection, we used SVC classifier with linear kernel and TF-IDF vectorization for feature extraction, resulting in 96% accuracy. Our sentiment analysis model using a CNN-LSTM architecture achieved 80% accuracy in analyzing comments on videos. For image captioning, we employed a feature extractor with a CNN layer followed by an LSTM model, achieving a BLEU-1 score of 0.53. Our platform empowers creators by simplifying complex tasks and offering deeper audience engagement insights, making it a powerful tool in the evolving digital content creation.

Economics and Management of Climate Change : Risks, Mitigation and Adaptation
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges for mankind. Although there is increasing evidence that climate change is already occurring, there is neither sufficient knowledge as to what extent climate change poses risks to societies and companies, nor about adequate strategies to cope with these risks. Bringing together an international group of scholars from environmental economics, political science and business, this book describes, analyses and evaluates climate change risks and responses of societies and companies. The book contributes to the question of how climate change can be mitigated by discussing efficient and effective design of mitigation measures, in particular emissions trading and clean development mechanism (CDM). Placing special emphasis on the impact of climate change risks on business, the book investigates in which way selected sectors of the economy are affected and what measures they can undertake to adapt to climate change risks.
Ecografia in oncologia : Testo-Atlante di ultrasonologia diagnostica e interventistica dei tumori = Ultrasound in oncology : Text-Atlas of diagnostic and interventional ultrasound of tumors
Offers detailed information on the key applications of different ultrasound techniques to the study of tumors. The necessary background on the major problems of clinical oncology is provided: screening, identification, characterization and staging of malignant neoplasms, evaluation of the therapeutic response, follow-up. The examination technique and the interpretative principles of all ultrasound techniques are carefully discussed (grayscale ultrasound, color-Doppler, pulsed Doppler, power-Doppler, echocontrastography), with particular attention to the practical aspects, to the "tricks of the trade. "and the potential methodological and semeiological pitfalls. Particular emphasis is placed on those areas where ultrasound plays a decisive role compared to other diagnostic imaging methods, with a practical and original approach, for "clinical problems". The main eco-interventional, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are illustrated in detail. The very rich iconography, also including a CD-ROM with original videos, punctually integrates the text. A compact and homogeneous work, necessary for all doctors, both radiologists and non-radiologists, who deal with ultrasound.
Early Life Origins of Health and Disease
Early Life Origins of Health and Disease is a new book which presents and discusses the many factors that may have impact on normal development. In a concise and readable manner, the authors consider both the proven and suggestive evidence that the high prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, obesity and, in some populations, kidney disease, may not be all due to genetics or adult environment alone. There is good evidence that stress and more subtle dietary deficiencies, as well as placental malfunction, may increase the risk that the offspring will develop these problems in later life. Finally, new and emerging evidence for other areas of human health and disease such a motor control and mental health is critically reviewed for the first time. The book is a ‘must’ for all scientists interested in researching these areas, as there is a critical evaluation of the methodology used and suggestions for the ‘optimal’ way in which to investigate these phenomena.
