This volume contains papers presented at the 3rd International Workshop on Mathematical Methods, Models and Architectures for Computer Network - curity (MMM-ACNS 2005) held in St. Petersburg, Russia, 2005. The 1st and the 2nd International Workshops on Mathematical Methods, Models and Architectures for Computer Network Security (MMM-ACNS 2001 and MMM-ACNS 2003), hosted by the St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation, demonstrated the keen interest of the international research community in the subject area. It was recognized that conducting a biannual series of such workshops in St. Petersburg stimulates fruitful exchanges between the di?erent schools of thought, facilitates the dissemination of new ideas and promotesthespirit of cooperationbetweenresearchersontheinternationalscale. MMM-ACNS 2005 provided an international forum for sharing original - search results and application experiences among specialists in fundamental and applied problems of computer network security. An important distinction of the workshop was its focus on mathematical aspects of information and computer network security addressing the ever-increasing demands for secure computing and highly dependable computer networks.

Computer Aided Bridge Engineering : Detail Design of Pre-Stressed Concrete I-Girder / Box-Girder Bridges
Real project design calculations for a deck-girder superstructure are presented along with the design of an abutment and pier with pile foundation as the bridge substructure. The book is proposed to be read in association with processing the design work by using the computer software ASTRA Pro as referred to in the book. The book describes two essential facets of the work, which are 'Analysis of the Grillage Model of the Deck-Girder Superstructure' and the subsequent 'Design of Deck Slab and PSC I-Girder'. The software provides three facets of the work: first is the 'Analysis of the Grillage Model of the Deck-Girder Superstructure', second is the 'Design of Deck Slab and PSC I-Girder, Abutment, Piers along with Pile Foundation', and the third is a 'Set of Sample Editable CAD Drawings for the work'. The drawings may be modified as per the design work and be submitted as required for the construction. The drawings contain information on dimensions, structural detailing, bar-bending schedules, pre-stressing details and construction guides.
Computational Plasticity
The different chapters of this book present recent progress and future research directions in the field of computational plasticity. A common line of many contributions is that a stronger interaction between the phenomenological and micromechanical modelling of plasticity behaviour is apparent and the use of inverse identification techniques is also more prominent. The development of adaptive strategies for plasticity problems continues to be a challenging goal, while it is interesting to note the permanence of element modelling as a research issue.
