Corporate Brand Design : Developing and Managing Brand Identity

Corporate Brand Design offers a unique and comprehensive exploration of the relationship between companies, their brand design and their stakeholders. The book begins its approach with a literature review, to provide an overview of current thinking on the subject and establish a theoretical framework. The following sections cover key stages during the corporate brand development process: brand signature design, its components and impact on brand reputation; website design and how it builds customer perception of the brand; corporate architecture design and the branding of space and place; brand experience design from a sensuality perspective. International case studies from a range of industries feature in each chapter to demonstrate how the theory translates to practice, alongside case questions to cement learning and definitions of the key constructs. By combining academic theory with practical case studies and examples, readers will gain a thorough understanding of the corporate brand design process and how it influences customer identification and loyalty to the brand. The book is a useful resource for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students of strategic brand management, corporate brand design and visual identity, and marketing communications

Consumer psychology : A life span developmental approach

Approaches consumer psychology from a unique perspective - it covers the entire lifespan, from birth to old age. Childhood and youth are not discussed as areas special, different and remote from the rest of consumer research but are integrated into our development as humans. Consumption is viewed as a process by groups and individuals with the cycle continuing through to disposal or ownership and possession. The author discusses how people’s natural lifespan influences their relationship to the things they own, how preferences are developed from childhood and how motivations for purchases change throughout their lives from childhood to old age. This book brings together the most recent findings and theories on child and youth consumption, including children’s understanding of advertising and marketing, teen and youth identities and their consumption tastes.

Constructing Roma Migrants : European Narratives and Local Governance

This book presents a cross-disciplinary insight and policy analysis into the effects of European legal and political frameworks on the life of ‘Roma migrants’ in Europe. It outlines the creation and implementation of Roma policies at the European level, provides a systematic understanding of identity-based exclusion and explores concrete case studies that reveal how integration and immigration policies work in practice. The book also shows how the Roma example might be employed in tackling the governance implications of our increasingly complex societies and assesses its potential and limitations for integration policies of vulnerable groups such as refugees and other discriminated minorities.

Logica Universalis : Towards a General Theory of Logic

Modern logic has been intimately connected with algebra since its origins in figures such as Boole, De Morgan, and Peirce. But while universal algebra is a long recognized field, universal logic has only recently been named as such. This is perhaps because classical logic was until relatively recently taken by many as the "one true logic". But with the proliferation of special purpose non-classical logics in recent years, universal logic is clearly a field whose time has come. This book contains many excellent papers demonstrating the value of this approach.

Logica Universalis : Towards a General Theory of Logic

Signifies the arrival of a new renaissance in logic, a new revival not only of logic, but of the vision of logic as a unifying tool for science as a whole, including mathematics, physics, cosmology, computer science and AI. The book and the vision behind it give logic, conceived as a scientific study of rationality, new unifying power, new perspectives, and new horizons.Universal Logic is not a new logic, but a general theory of logics, considered as mathematical structures. The name was introduced about ten years ago, but the subject is as old as the beginning of modern logic: Alfred Tarski and other Polish logicians such as Adolf Lindenbaum developed a general theory of logics at the end of the 1920s based on consequence operations and logical matrices. The subject was revived after the flowering of thousands of new logics during the last thirty years: there was a need for a systematic theory of logics to put some order in this chaotic multiplicity.

Literature-based Discovery

When Don Swanson hypothesized a connection between Raynaud’s phenomenon and dietary fish oil, the field of literature-based discovery (LBD) was born. During the subsequent two decades a steady stream of researchers have published articles about LBD and the field has made steady progress in laying foundations and creating an identity. LBD is an inherently multi-disciplinary enterprise where collaborations between the information and biomedical sciences are readily encountered. It is the hope and intention that this volume will plant a flag in the ground and inspire new researchers to the LBD challenge.

Leveraging Mobile Media : Cross-Media Strategy and Innovation Policy for Mobile Media Communication

Mobile communications and next generation wireless networks emerge as new distribution channels for the media. This development offers exciting new opportunities for media companies: the mobile communication system creates new usage contexts for media content and services; the social use of mobile communications suggests that identity representation in social networks, impulsive access to trusted media brands, and micro-coordination emerge as new sources of value creation in the media industries. In the light of this background, this book takes two different viewpoints on the development of mobile media: from a competitive strategy point of view it analyzes the extension of cross-media strategies and the emergence of cross-network strategies; from a public policy point of view it develops demands and requirements for an innovation policy that fosters innovation in mobile media markets.

Layce (Image data poisoning) = لايس (تسميم بيانات الصور )

The ongoing growth of image generative artificial intelligence models was paved with existing drawings and art pieces by great artists both past and present, and while generative models are very useful and helpful, there is the issue of the origin of the datasets trained on, and the morality of usage regarding copyrights and artistic identity. A novel line of defense that helps artists and visual content creators actively protect their pieces emerged, dubbed Data Poisoning and it works by misleading Artificial Intelligence models that attempt to use a Poisoned Image for training, or as a reference, as the Poisoned Image will appear to the human eye identical to the original art piece, while the Artificial Intelligence model will be seeing a remarkably different image, causing generative models to generate false positive results when given a prompt poisoned by the author or when trained on data poisoned by the original owner. This study aims to study image data poisoning methods and technologies, and build an application containing multiple image models, and poisoning models as well, accompanied by a Community for artists to share art and interact with each other.
