This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Third SKLOIS (State Key Laboratory of Information Security) Conference on Information Security and Cryptology, Inscrypt 2007 (formerly CISC), held in Xining, China, in August/September 2007.The 33 revised full papers and 10 revised short papers presented together with 2 invited papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 167 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on digital signature schemes, block cipher, key management, zero knowledge and secure computation protocols, secret sharing, stream cipher and pseudorandomness.

Asia Information Retrieval Symposium (AIRS) 2006 was the third AIRS conf- ence in the series established in 2004.The ?rst AIRS washeld in Beijing, China, and the 2nd AIRS was held in Cheju, Korea. The AIRS conference series traces its roots to the successful Information Retrieval with Asian Languages (IRAL) workshop series which started in 1996. The AIRS series aims to bring together international researchers and dev- opers to exchange new ideas and the latest results in information retrieval. The scope of the conference encompassed the theory and practice of all aspects of information retrieval in text, audio, image, video, and multimedia data. Wearehappyto reportthatAIRS2006received148submissions,thehighest number since the conference series started in 2004. Submissions came from Asia and Australasia, Europe, and North America. We accepted 34 submissions as regular papers (23%) and 24 as poster papers (16%). We would like to thank all the authors who submitted papers to the conf- ence, the seven area chairs, who worked tirelessly to recruit the program c- mittee members and oversaw the review process, and the program committee members and their secondary reviewers who reviewed all the submissions.

Infections à papillomavirus : État des connaissances, pratiques et prévention vaccinale = Human papillomavirus infections : Current knowledge, practices and vaccination prevention
The impact of papillomavirus (HPV) infection is considerable. More than one in two women has been exposed to HPV in her lifetime and around 10% will develop a chronic infection. Of these, 20% will develop cervical cancer in the absence or failure of screening. In France, high-risk HPV infection causes 80,000 precancerous lesions, 3,400 cervical cancers and the death of 1,000 women every year. Smear screening performed at a regular rate and according to quality standards has resulted in a significant decrease in incidence and mortality over the past 20 years. However, despite this considerable success, the so-called preventable disease has not been eradicated; testing is a complex process that only benefits part of the population while those who benefit endure its weaknesses. Optimization of screening and treatment is now made possible by the use of innovative techniques including the smear in liquid suspension, the HPV test, and soon viral genotyping and molecular markers guaranteeing maximum protection. Because cervical cancer is the result of chronic HPV infection, we already have the extraordinary chance to prevent it with a prophylactic vaccine. This progress will have a major impact on our practices as it happens in a poorly prepared medico-sociological environment. This resolutely practical and educational book provides an overview of knowledge and perspectives on HPV infection and its associated pathologies while deciphering the new challenges and practices in the vaccine era.

Homogenization of Partial Differential Equations
Homogenization is a method for modeling processes in microinhomogeneous media, which are encountered in radiophysics, filtration theory, rheology, elasticity theory, and other domains of mechanics, physics, and technology. These processes are described by PDEs with rapidly oscillating coefficients or boundary value problems in domains with complex microstructure. From the technical point of view, given the complexity of these processes, the best techniques to solve a wide variety of problems involve constructing appropriate macroscopic (homogenized) models. The present monograph is a comprehensive study of homogenized problems, based on the asymptotic analysis of boundary value problems as the characteristic scales of the microstructure decrease to zero. The work focuses on the construction of nonstandard models: non-local models, multicomponent models, and models with memory.

The aim of this book is to facilitate the identification and description of the different organs as well as pathogens and diseases affecting the most representative species of cephalopods focussed on Sepia officinalis, Loligo vulgaris and Octopus vulgaris. These species are valuable ‘morphotype’ models and belong to the taxonomic groups Sepioidea, Myopsida and Octopoda, which include most of the species with a high market value and aquaculture potential. The study is based on photographs at macroscopic and histological level in order to illustrate the role of the most important pathogens and related diseases from the view of a pathological diagnosis. The reader is able to familiarize with functional anatomy, necropsy and general histology of adults and paralarvae, as well as with the identification of different pathogens and pathologies. Growth, Differentiation and Sexuality
Since publication of the first edition of Volume I in 1994, the field of fungal biology has developed tremendously, mainly through the advancement of various molecular techniques and international fungal genome projects. To accommodate these developments, the second edition has been completely updated. Six chapters have been revised by former authors, others by newly recruited experts, and also novel subjects, emerged in more recent years, have been added to the book. Future Spacecraft Propulsion Systems : Enabling Technologies for Space Exploration
In Future Spacecraft Propulsion Systems the authors demonstrate the need to break free from the old established concepts of expendable rockets, using chemical propulsion, and to develop new breeds of launch vehicle capable of both launching payloads into orbit at dramatically reduced cost, and for sustained operations in low-Earth orbit.
