Mix-Design and Application of Hydraulic Grouts for Masonry Strengthening
Provides guidance for the rational design and application of hydraulic grouts, based on a series of specific data (type of masonry, voids' width, targeted strength and durability level, available materials, etc.). To this end, the basic characteristics of a grout, i.e. its injectability (penetrability, fluidity and stability), its strength and durability, are taken into account by means of rational models and quantified expressions of all grout-design parameters. Thus, a holistic, rational mix design methodology for optimization of grout composition is given, permitting the preliminary design of grouts, without having to resort to multiple tests in advance.
Mitral valve diseases
The heart is a pump consisting of 4 chambers:2 atria and 2 ventricles and 4 valves one of them is mitral valve which is located betweenthe left atrium and the left ventricle and prevents the backward flow of blood.Ithas several unique features: Mitral annulus, two leaflets, the chordae tendineaeand papillary muscles. The mitral valve may become stenotic or may regurgitate. Regurgitation(or leakage of the valve): When the valve (s) do not close completely. Stenosis (or narrowing of the valve): When the valve (s) opening becomes narrowed. Mitral stenosis is categorized as mild, moderate or severe it is typically causedby (Rheumatic fever, A congenital heart, Calcium deposits .....) and it caused severalsymptoms such as: dyspnea, hemoptysis, fatigue, Chest pain and others Where as the Signs and symptoms of mitral valve regurgitation, can include: Abnormal heart sound, Shortness of breath, Heart palpitations, Fatigue, edma, Coughing.
Mitochondrial Medicine : Mitochondrial Metabolism, Diseases, Diagnosis and Therapy
Mitochondrial Medicine is a relatively new area where several disciplines from basic science to clinical medicine converge. Mitochondrial medicine deals with diseases that are related to mitochondrial dysfunction due to a number of causes from free radical damage to genetic mutation.

Mining Sequential Patterns from Large Data Sets
To meet the different needs of various applications, several models of sequential patterns have been proposed. This volume not only studies the mathematical definitions and application domains of these models, but also the algorithms on how to effectively and efficiently find these patterns. Mining Sequential Patterns from Large Data Sets provides a set of tools for analyzing and understanding the nature of various sequences by identifying the specific model(s) of sequential patterns that are most suitable. This book provides an efficient algorithm for mining these patterns.
Mini-Micro Fuel Cells : Fundamentals and Applications
This volume contains an archival record of the NATO Advanced Institute on Mini – Micro Fuel Cells – Fundamental and Applications held in Çesme – Izmir, Turkey, July 22–August 3, 2007. The ASIs are intended to be a high-level teaching activity in scientific and technical areas of current concern. In this volume, the reader may find interesting chapters on Mini- Micro Fuel Cells with fundamentals and applications. In recent years, fu- cell development, modeling and performance analysis has received much attention due to their potential for distributed power which is a critical issue for energy security and the environmental protection.
Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery
This book covers all aspects of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and provides detailed information on each MIGS device, including its mechanism of action; patient selection; implantation techniques; post-operative management; and a review of the existing literature. Step-by-step descriptions are provided for the surgical technique used in implanting each MIGS device, accompanied by clear photographs of each surgical stage. Other areas covered include intra-operative gonioscopy (with tips on optimising the view of the anterior chamber angle) and the management of the intra-operative and post-operative complications. Essential information on the anatomy and physiology of the different aqueous outflow pathways is also included.
Minimally invasive dental implant surgery
Presents a new clinical text and atlas focused on cutting edge and rapidly developing, minimally invasive treatment modalities and their applications to implant dentistry. Centered on progress in imaging, instrumentation, biomaterials and techniques, this book discusses both the “how to” as well as the “why” behind the concept of minimally invasive applications in implant surgery.
Minimally Invasive Bariatric Surgery
This book covers the full spectrum of laparoscopic weight loss surgery and the pathophysiology of obesity. Mind conversation = التنبؤ بالحروف العربية من خلال الإشارات الدماغية
Throughout history, humans have long dreamed of understanding what goes on inside the human mind—what people are thinking or feeling. It seemed like something from a far-off future or a magical realm. But now, thanks to amazing technology called EEG and BCI, this dream is turning into reality. EEG stands for electroencephalography. It's a way of listening to what the brain is up to by placing small sensors on or near the head. These sensors pick up tiny electrical signals produced by the brain's activity. It's like eavesdropping on the brain's conversations with itself. BCI, or Brain-Computer Interface, is like a bridge between the brain and machines. It lets the brain talk to devices or computers. This means people can control things without using their hands or voices. Our system takes advantage of EEG and BCI to create something helpful, a special mobile app. This app is designed for people who can't move their bodies, like those who are paralyzed. It helps them use their phones to express what they are thinking about.
