The development in cancer therapy and early detection tools
Despite the development in cancer treatment there is still a high rate of mortality worldwide. Although the traditional ways of cancer treatments are still used as a first line therapy, however, new treatments have been developed which showed a high effect on cancer cells. Therefore, the aim of our study is to search for the most recent cancer therapies, such as anti-angiogenesis treatment and immune therapy and related early detection tools. We will focus on the most “resilient” aggressive types of cancers which people have a lack of information about, in order to let them be aware about their risk factors and how to avoid them, and to provide them with their symptoms as well.

Stem cell therapy for infertility
Globally, infertility affects 8-12% of couples of reproductive age and has become a common problem. There are several ways to treat infertility, including medication, intrauterine insemination, and in vitro fertilization. In recent years, stem cells are looked at as a promising tool for improving infertility treatments in women and men.. Stem cells are self-renewing, self-replicating undifferentiated cells that are capable of producing specialized cells under appropriate conditions. They exist throughout a human’s embryo, fetal, and adult stages and can proliferate into different cells. While many issues remain to be addressed concerning stem cells, stem cells have undeniably opened up new ways to treat infertility. In this review, we describe past, present, and future strategies for the use of stem cells in reproductive medicine.

Spatial Econometrics : Selected Essays
In recent years the so-called new economic geography and the issue of regional economic convergence have increasingly drawn the interest of economists to the empirical analysis of regional and spatial data. Spatial econometric techniques receive little or no attention in the major econometric textbooks. Very occasionally the standard econometric textbooks devote a few paragraphs to the subject, but most of them simply ignore the subject. On the other hand spatial econometric books (such as Anselin, 1988 or Anselin, Florax and Rey, 2004) provide comprehensive and - haustive treatments of the topic, but are not always easily accessible for people whose main degree is not in quantitative economics or statistics. This book aims at bridging the gap between economic theory and spatial stat- tical methods.
Soft Computing for Complex Multiple Criteria Decision Making
There are numerous books on Multiple Criteria Decision Making. Soft Computing for Complex Multiple Criteria Decision Making concentrates on providing technical (meaning formal, mathematical, algorithmical) tools to make the user of Multiple Criteria Decision Making methodologies independent of bulky optimization computations. These bulky computations up to now have been a necessary, but limiting, characteristic of interactive MCDM methodologies and algorithms. This book removes these limitations of MCDM problems by reducing a problem's computational complexity. The book systematically applies the approximate — soft — treatments to major MCDM solving methodologies. As a result, it provides a wider and more functional general framework for presenting, teaching, implementing and applying a wide range of MCDM methodologies. The book seeks to provide a stimulus for a broader development and application of MCDM methods.

Sindrome Coronarica Acuta, un nuovo modo di fare diagnosi, un nuovo modo di impostare la terapia = Acute Coronary Syndrome : Anew way of diagnosing and setting therapy
Aims to provide the reader with a concise yet comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the issue of acute coronary syndrome, in light of the enormous body of literature published on the subject over the past decade. Introduction to the concepts of electrocardiography and histophysiopathology, the nosological reclassification of acute coronary disease resulting from the introduction of new myocardial necrosis markers into clinical practice is addressed. It also emphasizes the need for physicians to assess the intrinsic risk of the disease by calculating specific scores proposed by clinical studies. Based on these new concepts, the various therapeutic approaches that should be implemented are analyzed, including both purely pharmacological and more "aggressive" approaches in terms of effectiveness. Ample space is therefore given to the use of new antithrombotic treatments and the choice between pharmacological therapy and invasive approaches using coronary angiography and angioplasty. a crossroads that sometimes puts the doctor in difficulty, but which can imply, if the options are faced rationally, a radical change in the patient's destiny.
