Diet and fertility
Infertility and subfertility affect a significant part of the population. Among various definitions of this pathology, the most ommon one is provided by the World Health Organization; it says that infertility is 'a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourses. The global prevalence of infertility is about 50-70 million couples. Since the process of human reproduction involves a large number of factors, a broad spectrum of infertility tests might be applied. Some of the tests focus directly on the pregnancy, some are only partially effective, whereas others should not be recommended for infertile couples.
Diastema (diagnosis & management)

Diabetes mellitus and bacterial and fungal urinary tract infection
Diabetes mellitus is a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by variable degrees of insulin resistance, impaired insulin secretion, and increased glucose production. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are at increased risk of infections, with the urinary tract being the most frequent infection site. Various impairments in the immune system, in addition to poor metabolic control of diabetes, and incomplete bladder emptying due to autonomic neuropathy, may all contribute in the pathogenesis of urinary tract infections (UTI) in diabetic patients. Factors that were found to enhance the risk for UTI in diabetics include age, metabolic control, and long-term complications, primarily diabetic nephropathy and cystopathy. The spectrum of UTI in these patients ranges from asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) to lower UTI (cystitis), pyelonephritis, and severe urosepsis.

Developing Organogel of CoEnzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is a small lipophilic molecule composed of a benzoquinone ring and a hydrophobic isoprenoid tail and is present in all cell membranes. It is also an antioxidant. It plays a substantial role in energy production by acting as a mobile electron carrier in the electron transport chain. It has poor intestinal absorption and is prepared in topical forms. Organogel is a non-crystalline, non-glassy thermoreversible (thermoplastic) solid material and viscoelastic system can be regarded as a semi-solid preparation which has an immobilized external apolar phase, it is compatible with high molecular weight ingredients. The objective of present work is to prepare new dosage form with studying of different factors and conditions affecting preparation. Materials and methods: stearic acid and Flaxseed oil organogel was prepared by three methods and confirmed by quality assessment methods including: transparency, structure analysis, inverted tube test, kinetic of organogalation and stability test.
Developing a distributed medical system
Our project is a distributed medical system that is used by patients and multiple medical sectors such as doctors, pharmacists, analysis labs, hospitals, and medical insurance companies. The aim of the project is to add and store all the patient’s medical data in our system, such as previous treatments and past medical records from previous doctors, previous prescriptions and older lab test’s results, in addition, the insurance companies will have the ability to check on the medical treatment of its customers to do the necessary procedures needed for the them to perform their work. All of our actors are working in a secure and synchronized system in order to provide the best medical results possible, each actor has its own transactions to do in our system and can only manage and access the data allowed for him to perform his required job.
Determinants of audit fees : Evidence from Syria
Examines different factors that determine the value of audit fees in Syria. We test the impact of many factors related to audit firm as (audit report type, auditor type, audit firm market share and audit firm rotation) and factors related to client of audit firm (type, size, age and profitability) on the amounts of audit fees. To achieve that goal, the study depends on a practical study ; by extracting an actual data of the 24 companies listed at Damascus Securities Exchange (DSE) for the years 2016-2022. The extracted data were then analyzed by SPSS using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression test, and ANOVA test to examine the research hypothesis.

Design of Observational Studies
This book introduction to statistical inference in observational studies and a detailed discussion of the principles that guide the design of observational studies. An observational study is an empiric investigation of effects caused by treatments when randomized experimentation is unethical or infeasible. Observational studies are common in most fields that study the effects of treatments on people, including medicine, economics, epidemiology, education, psychology, political science and sociology. The quality and strength of evidence provided by an observational study is determined largely by its design. Design of Observational Studies is organized into five parts. Chapters 2, 3, and 5 of Part I cover concisely many of the ideas discussed in Rosenbaum’s Observational Studies. Part II discusses the practical aspects of using propensity scores and other tools to create a matched comparison that balances many covariates, and includes an updated chapter on matching in R. In Part III, the concept of design sensitivity is used to appraise the relative ability of competing designs to distinguish treatment effects from biases due to unmeasured covariates. Part IV discusses evidence factors and the computerized construction of more than one comparison group. Design and Analysis of Simulation Experiments
This is an advanced expository book on statistical methods for the Design and Analysis of Simulation Experiments (DASE). Though the book focuses on DASE for discrete-event simulation (such as queuing and inventory simulations), it also discusses DASE for deterministic simulation (such as engineering and physics simulations). The text presents both classic and modern statistical designs. Classic designs (e.g., fractional factorials) assume only a few factors with a few values per factor. The resulting input/output data of the simulation experiment are analyzed through low-order polynomials, which are linear regression (meta)models. Modern designs allow many more factors, possible with many values per factor. These designs include group screening (e.g., Sequential Bifurcation, SB) and space filling designs (e.g., Latin Hypercube Sampling, LHS). The data resulting from these modern designs may be analyzed through low-order polynomials for group screening and various metamodel types (e.g., Kriging) for LHS.
