The main broad topics include: the integration of decision analysis and behavioral models / innovations in behavioral models / exploring descriptive behavior models / experimental studies
Deciphering Growth
Growth is a complex process that is essential to life. Not only does size play an important role in the process of cellular proliferation, but body size is also a critical factor in determining which organisms live longer. In mammals, the major factors involved in the regulation of body growth are known. The combined knowledge concerning the endocrine and paracrine aspects of growth have led to the introduction of treatment regimens, most effective in GH-deficient children.
Data-driven BIM for Energy Efficient Building Design
Conceptualises the scale and spectrum of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches in energy efficient building design and to develop its functional solutions with a focus on four crucial aspects of building envelop, building layout, occupant behaviour and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. Drawn from theoretical development on the sustainability, informatics and optimisation paradigms in built environment, the energy efficient building design will be marked through the power of data and BIM-intelligent agents during the design phase.

Data Warehousing and Data Mining Techniques for Cyber Security
It provide techniques for collecting information from distributed databases and for performing data analysis. The ever expanding, tremendous amount of data collected and stored in large databases has far exceeded our human ability to comprehend--without the proper tools. There is a critical need for data analysis that can automatically analyze data, summarize it and predict future trends. In the modern age of Internet connectivity, concerns about denial of service attacks, computer viruses and worms are extremely important. Data Warehousing and Data Mining Techniques for Cyber Security contributes to the discipline of security informatics. The author discusses topics that intersect cyber security and data mining, while providing techniques for improving cyber security. Since the cost of information processing and internet accessibility is dropping, an increasing number of organizations are becoming vulnerable to cyber attacks. This volume introduces techniques for applications in the area of retail, finance, and bioinformatics, to name a few.
