Basic Notions of Algebra
Aims to present a general survey of algebra, of its basic notions and main branches.Those parts of the book devoted to the systematic treatment of notions and results of algebra make very limited demands on the reader: we presuppose only that the reader knows calculus, analytic geometry and linear algebra in the form taught in many high schools and colleges. The extent of the prerequisites required in our treatment of examples is harder to state; an acquaintance with projective space, topological spaces, differentiable and complex analytic manifolds and the basic theory of functions of a complex variable is desirable, but the reader should bear in mind that difficulties arising in the treatment of some specific example are likely to be purely local in nature, and not to affect the understanding of the rest of the book.

Avalanches, debris, mudflows and landslides are common and natural phenomena that occur worldwide, predominantly in mountainous regions. With an emphasis on snow avalanches, this book sets out to provide a survey and discussion about the motion of avalanche-like flows from initiation to run out. An important aspect of this book is the formulation and investigation of a simple but appropriate continuum mechanical model for the realistic prediction of geophysical flows of granular material. Autonomous Navigation in Dynamic Environments
The purpose of this book is to address the challenging problem of Autonomous Navigation in Dynamic Environments, and to present new ideas and approaches in this newly emerging technical domain. The book surveys the state-of-the-art, discusses in detail various related challenging technical aspects, and addresses upcoming technologies in this field. The aim of the book is to establish a foundation for a broad class of mobile robot mapping and navigation methodologies for indoor, outdoor, and exploratory missions.Three main topics located on the cutting edge of the state of the art are addressed, from both the theoretical and technological point of views: Dynamic world understanding and modelling for safe navigation, Obstacle avoidance and motion planning in dynamic environments, and Human-robot physical interactions. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) : Awareness in Syrian communities
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder affecting both children and adults, characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. This research explores ADHD awareness, prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment preferences within Syrian communities. A survey was conducted to collect data from individuals regarding their awareness of ADHD, its diagnosis, and treatment preferences. Additionally, interviews with specialists provided insights from medical professionals on the diagnosis and management of ADHD.

The end of this project should contain the reports made on the responses gathered from the survey involving the use of ALM programs in the Syrian market.
Assessment of syrian physicians’ knowledge and management of dental trauma – combined survey
Dental trauma (traumatic dental injury, TDI) encompasses injuries to teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues, with significant physical, psychological, and socioeconomic consequences. Despite its high prevalence, particularly among children, many physicians lack adequate training in TDI management. This cross-sectional survey assessed Syrian physicians’ knowledge, practices, and confidence in managing dental trauma, identifying gaps and barriers to optimal care.
