The Arab International University (AIU) welcomed an academic delegation from IUAV University of Venice, Italy, in a scientific visit aimed at enhancing academic and research collaboration, particularly in the fields of urban planning and reconstruction.

The delegation included a number of professors and experts specializing in urban planning and architecture.

The visit featured a presentation of the university’s faculties and facilities, as well as a scientific session that explored potential areas of joint collaboration on projects related to the reconstruction of damaged cities and regions, in addition to the exchange of academic and research expertise in issues of sustainable planning and urban development.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this initiative in building international academic partnerships that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in key areas, and address the needs of reconstruction and sustainable future planning.

This visit comes as part of AIU’s efforts to strengthen its international academic presence and broaden its active role in the recovery and reconstruction phase through cooperation with leading global universities.
