Ph. Ahmad Ganama

Pharmacist and Medical Laboratory Diagnostics Specialist, and university lecturer with over 20 years of scientific and professional experience in clinical laboratory diagnostics, public health, and university teaching. He holds a Master’s degree and a Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Diagnostics from the University of Damascus, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.

He currently works as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Arab International University, where he teaches courses in Bacteriology, Bacterial Pharmaceutics, and Virology.

Alongside his academic work, he has been serving since 2014 as a Technical Focal Point with the World Health Organization (WHO), contributing to the planning and supervision of national vaccination campaigns and the successful implementation of over 40 campaigns against polio, with no recorded cases of infection.

He has extensive practical experience in the management and operation of medical laboratories, and he is the owner and manager of private diagnostic laboratories, in addition to his previous work in reference laboratories and blood transfusion centers. He has participated in numerous advanced training programs with the World Health Organization in the fields of early warning, health incident management, and epidemic response, and has educational and supervisory contributions in the fields of biochemistry and hematology.
