Dr. Ali Alshiekh

General Surgeon and holder of the Arab Board Certificate in General Surgery, with over eight years of experience in general surgery and bariatric surgery using both traditional and laparoscopic methods. He has extensive expertise in utilizing all necessary open and laparoscopic surgical equipment for general and bariatric surgery, with a rich professional record of successful operations in major Syrian hospitals.

Dr. Ali has been working as a General Surgeon and Bariatric Surgeon at Al-Rashid Hospital in Damascus since 2018, where he has performed over 2,768 surgeries. He also works as a surgeon at Al-Mouwasat University Hospital since the same year, recording more than 1,703 surgical procedures. In addition, he trains resident physicians in the General Surgery department and supervises acute surgical emergency cases.

He holds a Doctorate in General Surgery from the University of Damascus, following a Bachelor's degree in Human Medicine from the same university. His research interests focus on bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and the impact of surgery on fertility. He also holds several prestigious professional certifications, including a license from the UAE Ministry of Health and the Syrian Specialization Certificate in General Surgery.

Dr. Ali has published several research papers and studies in internationally peer-reviewed medical journals, covering topics in bariatric surgery, liver and pancreatic diseases, oncology, rare cases, and gastrointestinal surgery.
