Dr. Moussa Hadj ali
An academic and expert in operating systems and programming languages, currently working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering at the Arab International University. He has over three decades of teaching and research experience at Syrian, Arab, and French universities.
He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Aix-Marseille II in France, following specialized research on open information systems and operating system modeling. He also obtained a master's degree (DEA) in Computer Science from the same university, in addition to a bachelor's degree in Statistics and Probability from the University of Damascus.
Throughout his scientific career, he has achieved a range of technical accomplishments, including the development of an operating system without interrupts, a compiler for the PF language, an interpreter for the PROLOG language, a text editor, and multiple software systems. He has also worked on website design and software consulting in analysis and design.
He has taught various courses in operating systems, programming languages, software engineering, distributed systems, databases, algorithms, and logic circuits at the University of Aix-Marseille, University of Homs, University of Damascus, King Faisal University, Syrian Private University, and the Arab International University.
His research interests include operating systems, distributed systems, real-time scheduling, concurrent programming, and system validation models for software systems. He has also held several administrative positions, including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Homs, Head of the Systems and Networks Department at the University of Damascus, and Dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the Syrian International University.
