Dr. Hala Alsabouni
Faculty member in the Drawing Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Damascus, and faculty member at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Arab International University. She possesses extensive experience in the field of animation, including drawing and animation, layout design, scriptwriting, and directing.
Dr. Hala holds a Higher Diploma in Painting, a Master's degree in Painting, and a Doctorate in Painting from the University of Damascus. She has published several scientific papers in the fields of mural art, Islamic art, and contemporary portraiture in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Alongside her academic work, she has extensive experience in animation, including drawing, animation, scriptwriting, and directing.
She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Syria and abroad, including the Professors' Exhibition at the Arab International University, and exhibitions at Al-Hurra Hall, Anbar Office, Al-Shaab Hall, and Abu Rummaneh Hall, in addition to regular participation in the Annual Syrian Exhibition since 1998. Her works have been acquired by the Syrian Ministry of Culture and by private collections in Germany, Turkey, the UAE, Egypt, and the United States.
