This book contains the best papers of the Sixth International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS 2004), held in Porto (Portugal) and organized by INSTICC (Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Communication and Control) in collaboration with PORTUCALENSE UNIVERSITY, who hosted the event. Following the route started in 1999, ICEIS has become a major point of contact between research scientists, engineers and practitioners on the area of business applications of information systems. This conference has received an increased interest every year, from especially from the international academic community, and it is now one of the world largest conferences in its area. Contains critical issues of representation, learning, and inference. Important new themes include pr- abilistic grammars, image parsing, and the use of datasets with ground-truth to act as benchmarks for evaluating algorithms and as a way to train learning algorithms. EEG signal processing for biomedical applications
Focuses on electroencephalography (EEG) signal processing in biomedical engineering applications. EEG signals are used widely in clinical and research settings to provide cognitive and emotional state information. In addition to capturing complex neural patterns at high speeds, EEG signals are a reliable and non-invasive way of measuring the electrical activity in the brain. By examining various novel analysis and signal processing methods, this collection of papers provides a better understanding of cognitive states and brain activity.

Classical multiple-view geometry studies the reconstruction of a static scene - served by a rigidly moving camera. However, in many real-world applications the scene may undergo much more complex dynamical changes. For instance, the scene may consist of multiple moving objects (e.g., a trafic scene) or arti- lated motions (e.g., a walking human) or even non-rigid dynamics (e.g., smoke, fire, or a waterfall). In addition, some applications may require interaction with the scene through a dynamical system (e.g., vision-guided robot navigation and coordination). To study the problem of reconstructing dynamical scenes, many new al- braic, geometric, statistical, and computational tools have recently emerged in computer vision, computer graphics, image processing, and vision-based c- trol.

Deepfake
The technology used to create such digital content has quickly become accessible to the masses, such as “DEEPFAKE.” Deep fakes refer to manipulated videos, or other digital representations produced by sophisticated artificial intelligence, that yields to synthesize a sequence of face images and voices of characters corresponding to their identities, such as voice tone, facial expression, with a good lip synchronization. Therefore, this study is about developing real-time video generation software, which generates a target video from a single input image. Several methods and algorithms have been applied to detect, analyze personalize facial expression, voice and natural head poses to present a life-like image instead of a low quality one.
