Advances in radar systems for target detection and tracking
Radar systems can provide the all-weather and all-time detection and tracking of targets of interest, and they have been extensively applied by the remote sensing community, in applications such as geological exploration, disaster forecasting, traffic monitoring, urban planning, environmental sciences, hydrology, littoral zones, oceans, etc. This reprint contains the several advance research studies on radar systems for target detection and tracking. It includes multipath ghost suppression, maneuvering target tracking, target detection, and other topics.

The Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (PAKDD) is a leading international conference in the area of data mining and knowledge discovery. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the successful annual series of PAKDD conferences held in the Asia Pacific region. It was with pleasure that we hosted PAKDD 2006 in Singapore again, since the inaugural PAKDD conference was held in Singapore in 1997. PAKDD 2006 continues its tradition of providing an international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences from all aspects of KDD data mining, including data cleaning, data warehousing, data mining techniques, knowledge visualization, and data mining applications.
Advanced Information Systems Engineering ; 19th International Conference, CAiSE 2007, Trondheim, Norway, June 11-15, 2007, Proceedings
CAiSE 2007 was the 19th in the series of International Conferences on Advanced Information Systems Engineering. This year’s conference was located in Trondheim and hosted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, with the aim of bringing together practitioners and researchers in the field of information systems engineering. The CAiSE series thereby returned to the city where the third CAiSE conference was held in 1991.The special theme of CAiSE 2007 was “Ubiquitous Information Systems Engineering,” reflecting that modern information systems often span activities performed in several organizations and at different geographical locations.
