In Cooperation with AIU, Inauguration of the Comprehensive Course of Arbitration Held by the Damascus Regional Center for International Arbitration


The comprehensive course of arbitration was held on Saturday 2/12/2017 by the Damascus Regional Center for International Arbitration, in cooperation with the Arab International University (AIU) and the Bar Association in the Syrian Arab Republic. The inauguration was in the presence of Dr. Tamer El Hageh, President of the Arab International University; Dr. Abdulkader Al-Hassan, Chief of the Association of Physicians; Judge Sahar Akash, Assistant to the Minister of Justice; Judge Salwa Kadhib, Head of the Judicial Inspection Department; Professor Jamal Al-Din Al-Khatib, Dean of the Higher Judicial Institute; Counselor Dr. Mohammad Walid Mansour, Member of the Legislation Department; Dr. Hazem Qarfoul, First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. Essam Hazime, Advisor to the Syrian Commission on Financial Markets and Securities; Mr. Lawyer Khalid Al-Haj Musa; Dr. Sulaiman Al-Musallali, Dean of AIU Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Hassan Rifai; Dr. Firas Dadeikhi and a large number of judges and advisors.

The course started by a speech by the President of the Bar Association Professor Nizar Al-Skeif and a speech by Dr. Tamer Al-Hajja, AIU rector and Dr. Firas Maamoon Sanofi, Chairman of the Center. The course will continue until Wednesday (13/12/2017) AIU has signed a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation earlier with the Damascus Regional Center for International Arbitration
