Abstract

The research deals with the relationship between nature and Islamic art by shedding light on two aspects of this relationship. The first is the philosophical vision of this art towards nature, preceded by a brief approach to ancient mythology, which is the most important aesthetic bases of Art of Ancient Civilizations. Between art and nature on the other hand, by analyzing the views of many of artists and philosophers.

    The second aspect is the visual, material and climatic characteristics of the nature in which Islamic art originated, and the extent to which these characteristics influenced the expressive style of this art, which earned it its own identity, which kept it within close proximity to the ancient Near Eastern arts that originated in a similar natural environment. Divide with other ancient world arts.
