This paper aims to study the principles and concepts of Islamic mutual funds and the differences between them and conventional ones. It also analyzes the efficiency and effectiveness of conventional performance models used to evaluate the performance of Islamic funds. The study concludes that there are significant differences between Islamic and conventional mutual funds, particularly in terms of the principles they are based on, especially regarding the concept of return. Conventional performance evaluation models need to be adjusted to accommodate the role of Islamic funds. Additionally, the paper proposes a new model for evaluating Islamic funds, which is adapted to the standards based on Sharia and financial principles. | Abstract |
