Starting on Saturday, September 19, entrance examinations for applicants to the Department of Theater Arts and Film Directing began, knowing that the university was the first to open the first film directing department in Syria, which would be the best tributary to Syrian cinema and drama with groups of academic directors, which contribute to the development of Syrian art.

The admission committee was formed of: Dr. Ajaj Selim, head of the department, director Mohamed Malas, director of photography Dr. Samir Jaber, critic Fadel Al-Kawakibi and screenwriter Dr. Mohammed Mari Al-Farouh.

Also, entrance exams for applicants to the Acting Department began on Monday with the presence and participation of members of the committee formed from: Dr. Ajaj Selim, head of the department.
