Drousi: A private lessons management system

Private teaching is considered to be an effective way to increase academic achievement of students and it seen as being a supplementary education, so it has become very common all around the world, however, previous studies have come to different conclusions regarding its necessity, so Drousi application had been made ,it’s a user-friendly mobile application to manage and arrange private lessons, and There has never been a better time to become a private tutor, as class sizes in schools increase, this can result in teachers being unable to give their undivided attention to students, and this document lays out a project plan for the development of “Drousi”, The plan will include a summary of the system functionality and how it implemented.

Developing metaverse for AIU

Metaverse is the virtual world in which humans can see each other in the form of 3D and communicate with each other in a virtual place that looks exactly like the real world, but the developers of metaverse so far used these virtual worlds for profit purposes only, this is what prompted us to build a virtual world that basicly contain the university, which can help students communicate with each other, see teachers and obtain the information they need from university employees without having to travel long distances, this project provides a distance education service without dispensing the idea of interacting with teachers directly and seeing others. Our virtual world has the ability to connect with any virtual world because of it’s base structure, It’s scalable as much as we need because it’s connected to the blockchain.

Building an automated exam system

The project aims to build an automated exam for various exams, fields and institutions, and we have adopted in our project the National Exam for Informatics Engineering. The system builds an automatic exam that facilitates the conduct of exams and their correction automatically. The flutter application was developed to provide a user interface for students and a web page to control the system for teachers and Admins. Laravel will be used as the application programming interface (API) to manage the data and functions of the system. The system builds an automated exam for various specializations to make it easier for students to test their information and their readiness to take the official exam.

Beyond the apparent Banality of the mathematics classroom

New research in mathematics education deals with the complexity of the mathematics’ classroom. The classroom teaching situation constitutes a pertinent unit of analysis for research into the ternary didactic relationship which binds teachers, students and mathematical knowledge. The classroom is considered as a complex didactic system, which offers the researcher an opportunity to gauge the boundaries of the freedom that is left with regard to choices about the knowledge to be taught and the ways of organizing the students’ learning, while giveing rise to the study of interrelations between three main elements of the teaching process the: mathematical content to be taught and learned, management of the various time dimensions, and activity of the teacher who prepares and manages the class, to the benefit of the students' knowledge and the teachers' own experience.

There is surprisingly little known about affect in science education. Despite periodic forays into monitoring students’ attitudes-toward-science, the effect of affect is too often overlooked. Beyond Cartesian Dualism gathers together contemporary theorizing in this axiomatic area. Becoming an urban physics and math teacher : Infinite potential

What happens as beginning urban teachers transition through their first few years in the classroom? This book captures one teacher's journey through the first three years of teaching science and mathematics in a large urban district in the US. The authors focus on Ian's agency as a beginning teacher and explore his success in working with diverse students. Using critical ethnography combined with first-person narrative, they investigate Ian's teaching practices in four contexts: his student teaching experience, his work with students on a summer curriculum development project, his first year of teaching in a small, urban high school, and his second year of teaching in a large, comprehensive high school. In each field, the authors describe the structural changes Ian encounters and the ways in which he re-utilizes the practices he used successfully in previous fields.

Attitudes, beliefs, motivation and identity in mathematics education : An overview of the field and future directions

Records the state of the art in research on mathematics-related affect. It discusses the concepts and theories of mathematics-related affect along the lines of three dimensions. The first dimension identifies three broad categories of affect: motivation, emotions, and beliefs. The book contains one chapter on motivation, including discussions on how emotions and beliefs relate to motivation. There are two chapters that focus on beliefs and a chapter on attitude which cross-cuts through all these categories. The second dimension covers a rapidly fluctuating state to a more stable trait. All chapters in the book focus on trait-type affect and the chapter on motivation discusses both these dimensions. AIU projects evaluation platform

The project is a cloud computing system constructed to provide the service of helping students run their practical projects and work together while keeping track of every change in it, and teachers running the projects online and evaluating them. The system provided help doing this mission in real-time dialogue without having any dependencies downloaded on the machine and running it over the internet. The development of the system used a full-stack web framework and a database processing technology. The system has accomplished such services as running the projects online. The tests of the system are running in good conditions. The use of this system will solve the problem of teacher’s project evaluation and running them online.
