Memorial for Prof. Dr. med. Dres.h.c. Friedrich-Carl Sitzmann

In honor of Prof. Sitzmann
the Arab International University organizes a memorial on the Campus Ghabagheb on the 7th of February at 11 am.
Prof. Sitzmann who recently passed away is honored for more
than 25 years of scientific cooperation in the field of medicine between the University of Saarland (Germany) and University of Damascus (Syria). Prof. Sitzmann's distinguished scientific contributions focused essentially on the advanced

exchange and training program for junior academics, particularly in pediatrics.

For his outstanding achievements in scientific cooperation between Germany and Syria Prof. Sitzmann received the honorable Doctorate from Damascus University in 2002.

Distinguished speakers at the memorial are:
