Introduction:

Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate was established on 2/1/2008 to control the quality of the educational process and the university performance and assure that AIU applies to the local and international standards
 

Vision:

The directorate strives to be a national research center in quality management through developing concepts of quality assurance in Higher Education Institutes
 

Mission:

Assure that the university meets the accreditation standards and measures set by the Ministry of Higher Education and other international accreditation agencies, help people adopt quality spirit, and implement the process of continuous improvement for the administrative and academic performancethrough providing added-value services to the whole community
 

Objectives:

• Gaining the society’s confidence in the learning outcomes and assuring its compliance with local, regional and European standards

• Improving learning outcomes through continuous evaluation of the curriculums and learning tools and methodologies to assure its compliance with research needs of the local regional and international market needs

• Improving academic performance through processes of self-evaluation to the teaching committee and student-satisfaction surveys.

• Documentation of procedures and administrative work processes and improving them continuously to assure quality of the service offered to the stakeholders

Structure:

This directorate is divided into 2 departments. These departments are:

• Monitoring performance department

• Accreditation department

• Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate  initializing a new facility survey on 1/8/2010.

• Dr.zaidoun Al-Zoabi  the Director  of Quality Assurance and Accreditation  Presented a  course on strategic planning for Directors and  Faculties Head of Section.

• Dr.Zaidoun Al-zoabi and Mr.khaled Al-Zafari will Conduct a training Course  next week in Statistical Method and Statistical Software Program SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences ) for  AIU Employees.

• Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate is  Preparing a Course in ISO 9001:2008 for  AIU Employee.

• Mrs.Zina Al-joubori Head of Documentation & Performance Management  Department are Auditing on Transferred Students Records.

• Three internship students conducting their internship program at Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate.
